We have just got back from the Lesse hotel this week and wish we were still there. We had such a lovely week relaxing round the pool and eating some lovely food. The hotel is spotlessly clean and offers excellent facilities. There is a minimarket on site and an excellent pool bar. The best bit about this place was the staff. They all worked so hard to make your stay as good as possible. They hold a Greek night every Thursday - the food was excellent and can thoroughly recommend it. We went bed and breakfast - breakfast was really good - but we did eat in the restaurant on our first evening and thought the food was excellent. Prices were quite reasonable in the hotel. 3 euros for a large Mythos, 2 euros for a glass of wine, and less than 4 euros for burger and chips at the pool bar for lunch. Drinks prices were slightly cheaper in town but we always made the effort to have a few at the hotel every evening. Food in town was well priced as well with evening meals starting from as little as 5 euros. Town was about a 15 minute walk away and the beach was closer - less than 5 minutes walk. We hired a car for 2 days and can recommend Nea Moudania and driving around the Sithonia peninsular. Overall this was an excellent holiday. Would go back if I was the type of person to go back to the same place.

I booked the Lesse as a late deal and got a really good price for me & my husband. We recently got married abroad but then wanted a nice holiday where we could enjoy time as husband and wife. On arriving at the hotel we were really impressed, it is a beautiful hotel & the hotel grounds are very pretty and well kept. The beach is only a short walk away aswell as the resort of Hanioti too. The room was a good size and there is plenty of room for all your clothes, there is also a kitchenette which was adequate if you wanted to make anything to eat or drink. The bathroom & shower however is a little small, even for someone like me who is only 5 foot nothing lol. But we didn't let this bother us. We also put down it was our honeymoon and we had bath robes, a basket of fruit and complimentary bottle of wine in our room which was a nice touch too.
The best thing about the hotel has to be the staff, Jon & George the bar tenders are brilliant. They went out their way to chat with us and make our stay more enjoyable. George made me some fab cocktails and Jon took us out one night with his Fiancee to see the premiere of the new Twilight Eclipse which was great.
We ate at the hotel most mornings and also had lunch there. There is plenty to choose from at breakfast time & we tried something different everyday off the lunch menu too. Prices are reasonable. Beer being 3 Euros for a large one, cans of coke, sprite, fanta etc were 2 Euros and the average lunch meal costing between 2-6 Euros. All our meals were lovely too. Not one of them was bad. We never did eat in the hotel restaurant in the evenings though so I can't comment on that.
We did join the hotel staff for their weekly Greek night (Thurs evening) which was brilliant. Lots of lovely Greek food to choose from and Greek dancing etc.
We went out most evenings into Hanioti and enjoyed all our meals there too. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from so never got bored of any of the food at all.
I would go back to the Lesse & I am even considering it again for our holiday next year if we can get a good deal again.

Friendly helpful staff who are keen to make your holiday as friendly and enjoyable as possible. George the bar man / entertainer merits special mention: He can't dance, he can't sing but he mixes a mean drink and makes you laugh with attempts at entertainment. Move over Stavros Flatly!
The rooms are good spacious and air conditioned, the weather was ok but we were the week before the summer arrived but both still managed to get respectable tans. The hotel and appartments (they are all the same thing) are about a kilometre from Hanioti and a pleasant stroll. The hotel breakfast was a good buffet (why can't anyone do bacon like the Brits?) The midday meals were reasonably priced. We ate out in Hanioti in the evenings, which has a good range of restaurants around the town square and side streets. Street entertainment was a bit light: usual portrait artists and bizarrley break dancers who dance to an Ipod, so all you hear is the thud as there heads hit the lino they dance on! Shops had the normal offerings (snide goods in evidence even in local craft shops which is a bit sad really)
Not sure I would go back to Hanioti and not a romantic setting but worth a visit and no regrets, it was value for money. The people on site make it worth the stay. Beach view from the hotel is stretching it and the beach is very fine sharp shingle (probably from Wickes). The shop on site has a limited range but was ok price wise. The hotel pools are excellent for all ages and bad swimmers like me!

We orginally booked this holiday for sightseeing, and we didnt really mind where we stayed, it was just somewhere to rest our heads for the night. But from the moment we got there, we felt really welcome, and definaltly looked after. And the morning after, the receiption staff knew our names and what block we were in. The rooms are basic, and yes; the walls... are paper thin. (Although, this gave us plenty to laugh about! ) and the shower could do with some TLC. but, ive seen worse in a better rating hotel. The food> there is something for everyone, although a little, ungreek for my liking, but still really yummy! The waiters are very limited in their english, but very friendly once you got past that. The bar is a place we were at every night, there just wasnt any point heading to town (which is a short walk to the left of the lesse) because everything you wanted was at your doorstep. George and Martin did their upmost to make sure you were looked after and you had the best time while you were there. George is everywhere, and makes you laugh at anything he does. hilarious. The only downer is there was only2-3 things on at night for entertainment, but when they did happen, it was brilliant and a total social event in meeting some really nice people! The pool is great and just right, didn't like the bees though!
Lauren, the Rep is super. shes lovely friendly and always around when you need her! had great knowledge of literally everything- and this is where we booked our trips, which were abit expensive for what they were, but amazing to say the least! the sunshine cruise is a must! especially on a nice hot day!
All in all. being back for nearly 5 days now, im suitably depressed and wanting to go back ASAP this year, but will be definatly going back next year.
i would recommend this hotel to couples and groups of friends!
