Friendly helpful staff who are keen to make your holiday as friendly and enjoyable as possible. George the bar man / entertainer merits special mention: He can't dance, he can't sing but he mixes a mean drink and makes you laugh with attempts at entertainment. Move over Stavros Flatly!
The rooms are good spacious and air conditioned, the weather was ok but we were the week before the summer arrived but both still managed to get respectable tans. The hotel and appartments (they are all the same thing) are about a kilometre from Hanioti and a pleasant stroll. The hotel breakfast was a good buffet (why can't anyone do bacon like the Brits?) The midday meals were reasonably priced. We ate out in Hanioti in the evenings, which has a good range of restaurants around the town square and side streets. Street entertainment was a bit light: usual portrait artists and bizarrley break dancers who dance to an Ipod, so all you hear is the thud as there heads hit the lino they dance on! Shops had the normal offerings (snide goods in evidence even in local craft shops which is a bit sad really)
Not sure I would go back to Hanioti and not a romantic setting but worth a visit and no regrets, it was value for money. The people on site make it worth the stay. Beach view from the hotel is stretching it and the beach is very fine sharp shingle (probably from Wickes). The shop on site has a limited range but was ok price wise. The hotel pools are excellent for all ages and bad swimmers like me!

We orginally booked this holiday for sightseeing, and we didnt really mind where we stayed, it was just somewhere to rest our heads for the night. But from the moment we got there, we felt really welcome, and definaltly looked after. And the morning after, the receiption staff knew our names and what block we were in. The rooms are basic, and yes; the walls... are paper thin. (Although, this gave us plenty to laugh about! ) and the shower could do with some TLC. but, ive seen worse in a better rating hotel. The food> there is something for everyone, although a little, ungreek for my liking, but still really yummy! The waiters are very limited in their english, but very friendly once you got past that. The bar is a place we were at every night, there just wasnt any point heading to town (which is a short walk to the left of the lesse) because everything you wanted was at your doorstep. George and Martin did their upmost to make sure you were looked after and you had the best time while you were there. George is everywhere, and makes you laugh at anything he does. hilarious. The only downer is there was only2-3 things on at night for entertainment, but when they did happen, it was brilliant and a total social event in meeting some really nice people! The pool is great and just right, didn't like the bees though!
Lauren, the Rep is super. shes lovely friendly and always around when you need her! had great knowledge of literally everything- and this is where we booked our trips, which were abit expensive for what they were, but amazing to say the least! the sunshine cruise is a must! especially on a nice hot day!
All in all. being back for nearly 5 days now, im suitably depressed and wanting to go back ASAP this year, but will be definatly going back next year.
i would recommend this hotel to couples and groups of friends!

The lesse is a fantastic place to stay. the rooms are very clean and spacious, the staff at the hotel are so friendly and make you feel very welcome. Well what can i say about the guys at the bar: especially GEORGE:: HE IS FAB..Lovely pool area, and plenty of sunbeds. Lauren the rep very friendly and always on hand if you need her. Breakfasts very good, plenty of choice. About a ten minute stroll to the main square, which as a great atmosphere in the evenings. I have only been back four weeks, and i have booked to go back in august with my daughter fir a week. really looking forward to seeing everyone again, you feel part of a family.

Lesse Studios were a very pleasant surprise. Tucked away in the olive groves and trees about 15 mins walk away from the main town and a short stroll down a track to the long sand/shingle beach.
Rooms were large and spotlessly clean with small kitchen area. The room was dull, lights are energy saving and don't give off enough light. Downside to the room was the shower cubicle is tiny, you can't bend over to wash your feet !

Restaurant - 2 greek waiters could have been a bit more friendly. The guys behind the bar were fab! They all tried to make your holiday special - George was wonderful, always smiling :) he definetly deserves a big pay rise !!

Food - was fine, always had a selection to choose from, always hot and freshly cooked.

Beach - sand and shingle. Sea crystal clear. One side of the beach is busy with sunbeds and lots of people, if u walk to the right it is natural and you can take your own unbrella and have peace and quiet on the beach and space.

Town - Okay - lots of touristy shops, no real nice things to buy. Lots of bars and tavernas. Nice to walk into in the evening.

Waks - Pefalokori, turn right at the bottom of the track - long road with lots of nice villas and apartments. Takes you into a small town , very nice if you fancy a change of scenery.

Liked the Greek feel of this hotel. Staff made you feel welcome during your stay.

Lauren the Rep was very friendly and liked to come and talk to you and ask about your holiday and very helpful.

I would return - very good value for money if you are looking for a simple relaxing greek holiday.

Lesse Studios are one of the most friendly places I've ever stayed!
I booked my holiday with my sister and friend in late April and couldn't wait to go, we left last Monday for a week in the sunshine and we weren't disapointed!
Being a fairly fussy eater I was a little worried when we picked the half board option but dining at the studios is fine, there's something for everyone no matter what you like/dislike and there's always a new menu every day so you never have to eat the same thing twice..
The pool is lovely, slightly cold at times but once you're in it's fine.. Sunbed's are free and there's always plenty.. Another great thing about the sunbeds is that no matter where the bed is, you get the sun from rise til set - nothing blocking the rays!
Other reviews have said that the walk into town is rather 'scary' at night, but I felt safe enough with my friend, both of us are 18... The only thing you have to watch out for are the crazy drivers, but just make sure you're not walking in the middle of the roads and you should be fine.
Hanioti itself is lovely, plenty of shops to look around and at the weekend there's a great nightlife.. (Not sure about week days because we decided to stay in the hotel bar)
The bar's in town are pretty much open until the last customer leaves.. So if you're looking for a good time then certainly try that out.. As far as clubs go, we saw a sign post but couldn't find any, although we weren't too bothered about that because we made really good friends with the staff at Lesse Studios so spent pretty much all of our evenings with them, dancing, playing cards, singing and generally having a laugh..
GEORGE and MARTIN are ace! Personally they made my holiday! Never a dull moment when they're around and they work so hard to give you the best possible experience from your holiday..
Rooms are basic but very clean and definately nothing to moan about other than the lack of lighting, but open up the curtains and all is fine! Maids are friendly although they don't speak particularly good English, however we didn't find this a problem as we were out and about or by the pool most days when they came..
The beach was beautiful although not sandy if that's what you're looking for.. The sea was always warm and on the hotter day's the beach was fairly busy.. Although walking 5 minutes along it get's quieter and more private if that's what you're looking for..
All the people that work at the Lesse are so so friendly and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.. The boys are a laugh who work in the bar and you WILL make friends with them..
The owners are amazing people, they will never fail to help you out or direct you in the right direction..
Lauren, our rep was a great laugh.. She was there for quiz night (Tuesday or Wednesday) and kareoke night (Sunday) which were both a great laugh.. And was always available at the times stated on her board.. Lauren was really helpful for information on the town, day trips etc..
Greek night was brilliant and really got us chatting to people.. Met some really lovely people in the hotel and will hopefully be seeing them soon!
A fantastic holiday, whether you're a group of young people, a couple or a family.. Ever so friendly, would definately reccomend and am already looking into booking for next year, and I only got back yesterday!!
