Stayed at this Hotel september last year.Had a wonderful time.Everything very good.Food was home cooked and enjoyable.Room although a bit basic, was very nice and cleaned daily.Area was very nice for walking, hotel was about 5 mins from beach, water was clear.
We have never been back to any hotel twice but have booked to go back 3 september 2012 for a further week. This should speak for itself.
Hope they remember us and give us an upgrade.Who knows.

I stayed at this hotel in the first week of October, with this being out of 'season' the hotel was very quiet with only about 25 other guests. We arrived late and the manger was very welcoming and helped us with our cases to our room.

The room consisted of twin beds, tv, fridge, side tables, wardrobe, dresser, shower room and French doors leading onto a balcony. The room was cleaned and tidied everyday to a high standard and clean towels provide.

There is a menu left on reception daily to choose your evening meal from this changes daily and has about 3 starters and 4/5 main meals.

If you wish to have lunch at the hotel there is a lunch menu with a choice of pizza, jacket potato, burger, salads etc which is all reasonable priced.

There are sun lougners around the pool - I would reccomend bagging the ones at the end of the pool as they stay in the sun for longer. The pool isnt heated but im sure this isn't an issue in high season.

All the staff were very welcoming and chatty and even joined in with the karaoke (which was requested by another party) and put the rugby world cup on when requested.

The beach is about a 5 min walk from the hotel and there is a supermarket that sells cigarettes, English newspapers etc in the hotel across the road. The centre of the town is about a 15 min walk - I cannot comment much on the town or the beach as it was mostly closing down due to the season being over.

I will deffinately be returning to this hotel!

Small friendly family run hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a jaccuzzi bath which was fantastic. The room was kept spotlessly clean as were the gardens and pool area. All the meals were superb (especially the homemade soups) with plenty of choice including vegetarian. the only criticism is that smoking was allowed in the bar area and one of us suffers from asthma we were unable to take part in some of the evening activities because of the smoke. Otherwise we had a peaceful relaxing holiday. Thankyou to Billy and Peri. We will be returning next year for sure.

Room Tip: try to book a suite if possible

The hotel on the whole is lovely, it caters for your needs well and we never found it to be overcrowed. The rooms were pretty basic but were very clean and fresh linen was given everyday!
The hotel is very close to the beach and local town which we found a huge benefit.

The negatives that we found with this hotel is that you had to pay an extra 50 euro's for the comfort of air conditioning in your room which i feel is unacceptable and should really come as standard in a 30-40 degree climate! Also had to pay for the use of a safety deposit box which was not refundable upon leaving and also the box was not secure within your own room but located at the ground floor of the bar??????

One big negative is the difference in which the owner (billy) treats the greek visitors to the english visitors!!! Including meeting and greeting, general customer service and one in particular was the difference in food that was served for the greeks compared to the english (just check your portion and presentation compared to theirs, and you'll see why we were annoyed).

Don't get me wrong the hotel is lovely and so is the location but considering the english provide the majority of there business (never mind the pending bail out) you at least expect everyone to be treated the same. Maybe the owners should think about this, no more inparticular billy who we found quite rude at times!!

We have just returned from this lovely hotel, which consisits of rooms in 3 or 4 two storey blocks, set in well tended gardens. The hotel is owned by Australian-Greeks, so no language barriers but the welcome addition of the Aussie sense of humour. The food is superb & very reasonable. We had an Ouzo meze for a snack, which consisted of taramas, tzatziki, olives, cheese & ham, all for 2.80€. Excellent. The evening meal is all home cooked with genuine Greek cuisine & enough choice to please everyone.
Hanioti village centre is about a 15 minute strollwith no hills to overcome & well lit. The village square has a nice fountain display & is surrounded with tavernas, bars & restaurants, well worth a visit.
The beach is a 5 minute walk, across the road from the hotel & has free sunbeds in some areas. They're not the best sunbeds, but they are free.If you want to pay for better ones, 2 beds & a parasol cost 6€. The sea is warm, clear & calm, beautiful for swimming.
Hanioti is well worth a visit, if you want a relaxing holiday with lots of lovely food!
