We had a good welcome and prompt service. Opted for the chef's suggestion of the day which was roast leg of lamb (gigot roti). We were keen to eat something different from the usual menu items of the area because we'd eaten enough duck. Couldn't cut the lamb with my knife- lots of gristle and some large lumps of white fat. I couldn't and didn't eat it. My husand was able to eat some but not all of his- his cuts had less gristle. The waiter recognised that there had been a problem but we were still charged full price except for the 2 coffees which were given free in recompense. I would rather have paid for the coffees and had the lamb deleted from the bill.
