We visit The Emperor on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. There's never any issues parking as the restaurant sits in the middle of a car park (I think it used to be a bingo hall), so very convenient. The menu is fairly large with a good choice. We always have the mixed hors d'oeuvres as it has a good selection from chicken satay, sesame prawns, spare ribs, pancake rolls & seaweed.
The dumplings and soups are also good with my favourite, the hot & sour.
You cannot go to a Chinese and not have the crispy aromatic duck, simply yummy.
For the main courses, we've tried most things but the favourites have to be the kung po chilli king prawns, chicken with green pepper & black bean sauce & not forgetting the fresh aubergines with sea spice sauce. You have to try this vegetable dish, even if you're not a vegetarian!
There's never enough room for desert but we go back again and again.
