We have returned to this exceptional condo unit for two months yearly since 2014 simply because it is ideally located in the Gap, is especially well maintained and managed, and has been regularly refreshed. The unit is tastefully and comfortably furnished. All beds are exceedingly comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with reliable appliances, quality cooking equipment and dinnerware that has enabled us to prepare and enjoy many candle lit meals chez nous on the large, roofed balcony - overlooking the landscaped pool and and adjacent beach, and serenaded by "whistling frogs" and the sounds of the sea. For those nights when you want to dine out, you'll find a variety of dining experiences at all price points within safe and easy walking distance. Cabs are plentiful, reliable and reasonable for trips to Bridgetown or touring to experience the many charms of Barbados. Alternatively, you can access the nearby bus transit system to make your way around most parts of the island. Shopping locally - within walking distance - for fish, fruits and vegetables is easy and fun; two well-stocked Massey grocery stores are also nearby. Sapphire Beach staff - the unit's housekeeper and property maintenance and security personnel are attentive and helpful. The small onsite gym, together with the nearby cricket field enables us to easily maintain a regular exercise program. The owners of 114 visit regularly to enjoy their Island home which explains why this unit is a cut above many of the other available accommodations.
