The villa itself is located in Torre delle Stelle and is just a road of 150 metres away from the beach which is very nice. So you can go to the beach and when you want to have some peace, you simply return to the villa. We visited the villa in June before season and we had 25-28 degrees, could go already into the sea (20-22 degrees) while the beach was almost empty for the whole of our stay - absolutely perfect.
The villa itself is managed by a company (SardiniaHolidays) and they provide a good service. We had two or three topics that have been solved after our arrival. One note on that side: Make sure that you have all discussions and offers concerning the booking printed and that you have a clear agreement on provided services and offered prices. Otherwise you might run into unclarities (final cleaning, cost for electricity, cost for linen, baby furniture etc.) and might end up disappointed. When having prepared everything upfront, there are no problems.
We were visiting the villa with our baby-daughter and her grand-parents. The villa has a big living room and 4 bed rooms (3x2 beds and 1x1 bed) and offers enough space and privacy for everybody. All those rooms are on the same level (ground floor), which is very practical when having small children and druing hot summer days. Also the kitchen and the outside grill are absolutely OK, just as the two clean bathrooms (one is inside and one is outside). The garden is very nice and protected with big trees and has a big veranda where we used to eat. Also, there is a big terrace on the top of the villa (spanning the whole roof) which is also very nice and offers a nice view to the other houses and the surrounding mountains. All in all, we spent almost our whole holiday in the villa or on the beautiful beach. The villa also offered satellite TV, wifi and parking slots for 2-3 cars. So the villa has everything what you need - it is comfortably equipped, offers enough space, is on a great location and is well managed.
Concerning the location, we advise that it is necessary to have a car (for shopping and small trips) so that you make most of your holiday in Sardinia. Of course, it is good (as in whole Italy) to know some basic words so that you can go to a restaurant, to a shop or just to order some gelato :-)
All in all, we would definitely recommend this vacation rental to a friend and we consider to go there in the future again.
