“What a fabulous place to relax!”

During our roundtrip in Andalusia, we stayed in 'El Roble' for 3 nights, just to be away from everything....and it was absolutely amazing. It's such a nice place to do your own thing and just enjoy. We had a great time sunbathing along the private pool, making a BBQ, relaxing in the jacuzzi, having some drinks in the evening on the roof terrace and enjoying the view.
Alhaurin el Grande is just a few kms away and perfect to do groceries or go to a restaurant. A car is necessary, because of the rural area. Even though the property is quite big, the way the house is build, makes the place very cosy and comfortable. There is a lot of privacy, but if you need the help of the very friendly owners, they are just 50 meters away. We felt very welcome and we would definitely come back to this house in the future is we are in Spain.

“Relaxing or touring El Roble's the place!”

Just back from El Roble holidays near Alhaurin El Grande and can't speak highly enough regarding the accomodation, the hospitality of owners Jean-Michel and Frederic and the location of the villa.
My wife and I stayed in La Bellota an apartment attched to the main villa occupied by Jean-Michel, Frederic and Peggy the dog while our four friends stayed in El Corcho a two bedroomed villa within 80 yards from us.
Both accomodations had hot tubs and the villa had a pool (a bit cold this time of year) and J-m & F allowed us use of their private pool. The place was well well equipped, spotless and the views were spectacular. All agreed that as a relaxing break it was perfect, everyone of us said we had never slept better...ever...
It's a bit out of the lively town of Alhaurin El Grande however within a 15 minute walk is the Finca de Mota which was welcoming and a further 15 minutes was the Boma, also good.
Barbequing and eating/drinking on the rooftop terrace was usually order of the day.
If you are considering visiting the South of Spain fly into malaga and visit El Roble, you won't regret it....

“Secluded relaxation with a view”

We stayed at La Bellota during September, the weather was great, still in the high 20s low 30s. The apartment is lovely for two people with everything required for a comfortable stay. A car is a must. The journey from Malaga airport is easy and takes around 30 minutes. Nearby small towns have great supermarkets with everything you need for food and drink during the stay. Restaurants are within short driving distance and cater for all tastes. The hot tub is fab for a drink and star gazing after a relaxing day. Mijas is around a 20 minute drive and is a must to visit; the views from behind the bull ring are amazing! Jean-Michelle and Frederic are gracious hosts even allowing guests to use the pool which is great. Peggy and Kermit visit daily also! A lovely quiet, relaxing location, great for those wanting to get away from it all.
