Easy to find, very clean, little birds as you wake up, the fireplace, close to the Saint Rita Chapel. The managers are wonderful people. Just go!!!!
ITA
Facile da trovare, pulitissimo, gli uccellini al risveglio, il camino, vicinissimo alla chiesa di S. Rita. I gestori sono delle belle persone. Da consigliare.

This hotel is run by a family and you immediately feel it when you step in. The welcome is genuine and you are quickly part of the family. The cleanliness is a major attribute thanks to the constant watch of the owners. Although our stay was before the "official" heating start date, the owner did not hesitate to turn on the central heating system until bed time. And he restarted it in the morning. This was really appreciated considering that it was cold in Cascia the week-end we visited.

Food is family food. It is not a restaurant, it is family cooked meals prepared by the owners at request. Very tasty and quite generous portions. We really loved what we ate.

Room Tip: The hotel is located in a quiet place and all the rooms have a view.

I am so deeply grateful to Antonella and Augusto for their most lovely little gem of a hotel here in Cascia, home to Saint Rita's Basilica. I went here on the encouragement of a friend who lives in Umbria. I am so glad I did. I travel a lot, and I have never slept as well as I did in the Hotel Villa Stella. It is so peaceful and tranquil. I had a little room with a patio overlooking the Umbrian countryside. The room is small but very clean and cozy. Everyone morning Antonella serves a lovely breakfast with homemade cakes, breads, yogurt, fruit juice, meat etc. They also serve a lovely dinner (they also served lunch but I was always in town during the day). The last day as I was checking out, my friend- who was to come and pick me up- called with major car troubles, and Antonella chose to drive me a half an hour to get him and help us through the ordeal. I couldn't believe this kind of kindness- truly exceptional people. I am so touched that there are still people like this in the world. Cascia is such a sweet and special place, and Hotel Villa Stella is a true treasure.

Room Tip: I had a lovely view of the Umbrian countryside, and woke up to the sunrise coming over the trees and mountain every morning.

I was just yesterday there, It is a great villa, calm, relaxing, you feel like you are home with the surrounding nature, the best view to all cascia and to saint Rita basilic, and the villa decoration from the inside is very cosy. The owners ( Augusto and his wife) are very friendly, helpful and kind people, i felt i am a guest at their house. I definitely wish to come again especially in autumn and i really advise this place to everyone visiting cascia.
