I would like to give it 3 1/2 stars. but one of the mains unfortunately do not allow it. We had both a meal for € 19,90 which consisted of the oysters (good, if size was uneven) and fish soup. First plus, they were willing to alter the menu to accommodate my choice (fish soup was originally not on the selection). The highlight were the mains where we recommend the loup with tapenade. Unfortunately the tapenda got scraped away with the bones, since - another highlight - you get a whole fish. Excellent. And a first. The downside was the Thai beef which was tough and just tasted like being laced with a standard beef sauce. Maybe our fault, you just should stick to the fish. After all, you are sitting on a floating terrace in the Canal du Midi .The service was courteous and attentive. For desert we can recommend Creme Caramel, not so much the mousse au chocolat. Just in order to do Da Pepe justice, we did not give this one 4 stars. Actually, to appreciate the distance to La Guinguette, the latter should actually receive only 1 star.
