The wynn is definitely a cool hotel. The decor is quite fancy, in a showy way with bright colors. Yet it still has class. Defonitely one of the best hotels in macau. Bright colours and fancy brand names are not our cup of tea. But many people will like it. The rooms were big and the bathrooms were big and great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I like bathrooms with two sinks.
When we went to airport they told us every fifteen minutes there is a bus to airport. There was long taxi line so we asked for bus. It took them 5min to check. Then they said it will take at least twenty minutes to arrive and it will stop.somewhere else for ten min. We think they talking bull. Very bad. ended up having to wait in long taxi line and pay more. Unfair. It is bad principle.

We stayed in the Wynn for 2 nights in November 2011. I have stayed in the Wynn in Las Vegas a few years ago and had a great experience. But this property is definitely not the same. The staff was rude and extremely unhelpful. We had asked specifically for a non smoking room, but the room we got smelt of smoke and we were told that guest tend to smoke in non smoking rooms and nothing can be done about it. The staff was competely unreceptive, with almost no help from he concreige for giving us basic directions around town. In fact, there was a clear bias in favor of Chinese guests who I guess is the target customer base. We decided to cancel our reservations and move to he Venetian for our last 2 nights in Macau. The only good thing about he whole experience was the excellent Italian restaurant, great food and service and the lights and sound show. So, if you are not Chinese, I would suggest stay at the Venetian and come to the Wynn for dinner at ristorante il teatro.

The Wynn macau is a very expensive hotel compared to the Wynn in Vegas. The room was big and nice and had every thing a 5 star hotel should. The bathroom was large, separate shower and tub and neat and clean. Amenities were nice. House keeping could not be faulted either.

The rest of the hotel is average. The service is at best indifferent if not poor in some aspects. The food is poor and not vegetarian friendly (4 options same at each restaurant). They have a chinese restaurant (dragon flower) fine dining which was frightfully expensive but exceptionally bad food (reviewing that one separately). One coffee shop by the swimming pool and two other eating options around the gaming tables. The coffee shop vegetarian food was what was available in every other restaurant.

There is not much to do other than gamble at this hotel. The water fountain show is nice and is done every fifteen minutes. The Spa is very nice and truly luxury. The massage was excellent - one of the top 10 I have ever had. The steam and other common areas of the spa were outstanding as well. I took the 90 minute macanese massage - their local speciality and recommend it highly. I am told the encore spa is more private with each room having their own steam showers etc. Dint really try it.

The gaming floor is probably just like most hotels of this standard in Macau.

The location of this hotel though is quite nice - short walk from MGM, the bar strip and lisboa and a bunch of other hotels I had never heard of. The bar strip is not much to talk about and has about a dozen bars and restaurants which are just ok. The hotel some how tells you to takle a cab when you can get there in a less than 10 minute walk. Across the street from this hotel are also some shops (duty free I think) that sell alcohol cheaper than the bars in the hotels do. Some one I met at the gaming floor told me most people buy booze and drink in their rooms instead of at the bar. The whiskey served while playing is of poor quality.

Room tip: Try and get a room on a higher floor which faces the sea for a good view and if you have trouble with cigarette smoke - insist on a smoke free floor - big big problem with stale smoke

I spent 3 nights at the Wynn Macau a few months ago. It seems to be one of the most popular hotels in Macau as it regularly has full occupancy. I can understand why as the rooms are very large and comfortable, and the hotel is well located at the centre of a group of hotels such as Starworld Galaxy, MGM, Mandarin Oriental and Lisboa.

There is a large casino in the ground floor of the casino, and you will see many high rollers losing money like crazy. There is a Starbucks in the casino which is open till very late so that was pretty cool when spending late nights in the casino. I much prefer staying in this part of Macau, as opposed to the large resorts on Taipa Island like the Venetian, which are just too big and cannot handle the large influx of guests, the Wynn Macau offers a much higher level of personalised service.

I would definitely stay at the Wynn Macau in future if i visited Macau.

Crashed over for 1 night stay during family's wedding banquet, @ Wynn as well. Not sure if i was too beaten up by my jetlag and the celebration, however, one thing for sure, i indeed had a good night nap at Wynn (thank you). It certainly equipped me better to hop back on another transatlantic flight the next day.
