After the House of the Dancing Water, right at the House of Dreams, you get out and you have music and water works, with lights playing, it is really worth a trip here!

Note there are two Performance Lakes in Macau. The first and original is the smaller fountain show in front of the Wynn Macao hotel on the Macau Peninsula. The second is the more recently opened large-scale fountain show in front of the Wynn Palace property near the Cotai Strip.

This second Performance Lake is an impressive attraction in Macau. Think Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas but in a slightly smaller artificial lake. The fountain spouts water continuously forming a shape of a swimming dragon leading up to the Dragon Head structure used to support the cable car that circles the lake. This is nice to see while waiting for the shows to take place.

The Performance Lake shows are held from 12pm to 12am daily. From 12-7pm the shows take place every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour mark. From 7-12am, the shows take place every 20 minutes. As such, you will never have to wait too long to see one of the shows, which last 3-4 minutes in length.

Overall, the Performance Lakes fountain shows are very impressive, something very much worth making time to see if you plan to visit Macau and spend time around the Cotai Strip.

Hidden behind the Sands resort, you may miss this great venue that offers a water fountain show similar to the Bellagio in Las Vegas. You can also get a free ride in their cable cars that deliver you into the Wynn Palace. These two activities alone make it a worthwhile visit.

This performance is one of the best water fountain shows I have ever seen. Must see on your trip and do take the cable car to the hotel.

This is free and goes on every 20 minutes or so. I don't think it is on in the morning though. It only lasts a few minutes, so you probably won't go there just to see it, but if you are close by, you should go. It is spectacular, lovely to watch and the scale is vast. We saw it quite a few times from the fountain view room at Grand Hyatt, and once on the ground in front of Wynn Palace. They design the show to go with different songs. The best designs were for the operatic songs I think. Cannot believe this is free, but of course it's only a few minutes at a time.
