The actual apartment was lovely nice and clean and lots of room. Can't complain. However as most of the hotel's customers are the all inclusive German market, all hotel literature was in German. lovely friendly staff in the upstairs bar and snack bar.
We would not return the Corali Hotel, the roads are dark, no street lights so even though the walk into Town isn't far it feels a little rural and unsafe to be walking at night.

Its ok hotel for the price you pay..wouldnt say its a 4 star hotel..but i'd give it a strong 3 star.food is ok and varies every night,,deserts are tasty..the downside is ofcourse as in the most places that you dont get any drinks with your supper,as we went half board..you have to buy drinks even water which cost around 2 euros if i remember it right..maby less..also the walk to the beach is very bad..alsoto get to the proper beach with sun lounges and all nice sand..takes around half an hour..
we used to go to the beach every day , so cant say more about the hotel in a day time..would be a nice hotel if it was closer to the beach..

We stayed at the Corali from 11th~18th August 2016, choosing an all inclusive option. This follows a fab holiday in Kos in 2015 at a different all inclusive hotel. We chose the Corali as we wanted to stay in a different part of the island.

Upon arrival, we were pleased with the look and feel of the hotel. We received a friendly and helpful welcome from Irene on reception who was able to answer any queries that we had. The downside for this was being branded with a wrist band that had to be worn for the duration of the holiday. Although aware that these are used by other hotels, this wasn't the case in our previous hotel. It's only a small point tho - just be aware.

Our rooms were typical of this type of hotel and were clean and tidy. Twin beds, tv, working fridge, bathroom with shower and a balcony. The decor was pleasant. Subsequently, the maids were friendly and welcoming and hard working.

Our biggest gripe with the hotel was the food and the all inclusive status. All meals have to be taken in the hotel restaurant, which can be a drag when you are having a pool day. Despite there being pool snack bars all inclusive clients cannot eat there and have to head back to the restaurant for food. The children did not appreciate this.
The food is acceptable, with a great salad bar. We didn't enjoy the food as much as last years hotel but usually found something - some meals were difficult though. You must queue for the food as in a school canteen, which was off putting, particularly as you get people tutting at you if you just want to go to the last serving section. For some reason the sweet course is at the start of the sections, so if you want pudding after your meal you have to requeue and run the gauntlet of tutters!
There are notes around the hotel that state that you can serve yourself if all inclusive, but this just isn't true. You have to ask for any drinks that you require at all times and it feels that the all inclusive clients are ignored in the restaurant in favour of the half board guests. There were many times when we were ignored when trying to get drinks. In addition, we had comments about how many drinks we had. This makes it sound like we were constantly drinking but we weren't and this is soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. There was also some rudeness from staff like being shouted at to "sit down" in the restaurant when a waiter came to take a drinks order. Not happy!

During the holiday we were able to take advantage of the facilities - you can hire bikes, cars, use the shop on site and visit the bar at night. All of these were great. There is a gym available but we only looked at it through the window!! The beach is about a 10 min walk away. Some great views but not the best part of Tigaki beach in my opinion.

There are two pool areas within the complex. We settled in the Village Apartments area as we preferred the pool. All very clean and maintained well. They are open until 8pm, although the pool bar shuts at 6. No problems in getting sunbed spots during the holiday.

If you want to be with other Brits then this probably isn't the place for you, having met only one other British party. The main clientele is probably German, with a spattering of other nationalities - Austrian, Italian, French. For me this wasn't a problem but it can be an issue for others, so beware.

Overall, we had a fab week. We question whether our previous all inclusive was so good that it made this one seem bad. Hard to say.

I stayed here for 2 weeks with my friend. We were used to go to 5 star all-in hotels in Turkey, and they are so much better! But for Greece this is oke. You have to pay for everything you want extra, like beach towels and wifi. It is a hotel full of German people. Everything is in German. Very ridiculous. The food is really really really good and fresh! We weren't expecting that! Also the staf is friendly and work very hard. Only the old man (Kostas?) at the restaurant was only friendly to people who were not all-inclusive and paid for the dinner. The room was cleaned every day, even they make up my pyjamas :). If you want to go to the beach I recommend to rent a bike because the beautiful beach of Tigaki has a 15/20 minutes walk. At the hotel there is bike-rental service, but they are more expensive than the bikes you can rent at Tigaki city center. All by all we had a good vacation.

Very nice hotel. Stayed in the village appartments from the 13/7 - 24/7 2016. 2 adults and 3 kids. Good roome with lots of space. Great big terrace!! Good cleaning and nice staff all around the hotel. Great pool areas and playgrounds for the kids at the pool. The all inclusive program is not so good. The soda, beer and wine are not good and there is not a lot of food to choose from at the buffet. But I always found something to eat and was never hungry. Ice 3 times a day for the kids (lunch, snackbar and dinner). 15 minutes walk to the beach and 20 minutes to town.
Great stay, only the all inclusive that could have been better. Everything els was great!! :-)
