Nice large room but no seating even though there is room for some, no tv and can not understand why? Even if just couple of English channels would relieve a bit of boredom when not able to sunbathe due to rain ( October changeable weather). Breakfast simple but nice, staff lovely and meals purchased from small menu very tasty and reasonably priced. Walk to resort downhill but ok, Skala is small and you can walk round it in less than an hour, at this time of year businesses are closing down so beware. Walk back up to hotel on full stomach not advisable but taxi 5 euros. Hired a car for 3 days, end of season €95 from greekstones, saw all the island worth seeing in that 3 days as other resorts are equally sized or smaller. Agostoli lovely views in the bay, turtles etc but asides from that not a lot to write home about, no markets and shops expensive.
Good hotel but I would not visit Skala again or the island because I have seen it all in one visit which is a bit of a shame as other Greek islands I have visited had more to offer.More
