I'd highly recommend staying here. It's well equipped and welcoming, and as soon as you walk in the door it feels like home, and we felt relaxed straight away. We did a lot of self-catering during our stay and the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bonus is that there's an excellent supermarket (Migros) within easy walking distance. It has everything you need during your stay, but if you do want to have a wider selection of fresh fruits and vegetables it's a convenient dolmus/bus ride to Yalikavak, Gumusluk, or Turgutreis markets. The bus service is regular and reliable, and there's a direct bus into central Bodrum which runs late into the evening.
This house provides lots of different areas to relax in, and you can choose a shady spot or something with a little more shade. The pool is fab, and the outdoor patio area with table, BBQ, and wet bar are ideal hang out spots. There's a new addition since last time we stayed - a lovely little sun room, which was where I spent a lot of my time. I needed to stay connected while I was on holiday, and the wi-fi was excellent.
Tracey goes out of her way to make sure her guests get a warm welcome, and is really knowledgeable about the local area, with all sorts of phone numbers and contacts for spas, Turkish baths, boat trips etc. So if you have any questions about sightseeing or activities she's an excellent resource.
One of the most important things with self-catering accommodation is that it's clean - and it was spick and span when we arrived. All in all we had a brilliant time, and have no hesitation about recommending this property (we're even planning on coming back next year).
Final note -- don't listen to the international news scaremongering about the safety of Turkey. It's a huge country and the Bodrum area is safe and friendly. We met so many lovely Turks during our day trips to the surrounding towns and villages, very friendly and the rate of exchange is amazing right now.
This villa is fab, fab, fab. Spacious, great setting, near a lovely quaint fishing village.
The villa is massive, with loads of outdoor space- so you can grab a bit of privacy when required.
The master en-suite has twin sinks and a bath- an unusual thing in Turkey!
There is also a 2nd bath downstairs.
The villa is 1 of just 5 on the site, so it's peaceful. You don't need a car, as the road, for the bus, is just a few mins' walk away, from where you can hop on a bus to the local village, or to Turgetreis, for banks/ market/ catch footy on the big screen.
Trace really cares about her villa.
She has supplied everything you would need for the perfect holiday.
A new hot tub & outside bar are the finishing touches.
There is a big private pool- which looks lovely, especially when lit up at night.
There is loads of room to sunbathe- either by the pool or on 2 massive decking areas upstairs.
The Villa it's self is in an amazing location 5**** and the sea views surrounding it are of postcard quality. The interior and all it's fittings and furniture, the exterior & the swimming pool on the ocean facing rear of the Villa are all absolutely immaculate 5***** it's like moving into someones home. The time, effort & expense the owner has gone too & it has to be said goes too, to make sure you're holiday experience is a memorable one is an understatement and come second to None!!! (Oh & the Wi Fi was a real bonus to the younger family members) The master bedroom again and it's coastal sea views hit the WOW factor buttons. Having stopped in other rental Villas previously this one really is like no other we've stopped in it's NOT a rental machine, it's a Fantastic all round family holiday experience second in our opinions to none as stated earlier. It's a five minute walk to the local restaurant "The Terrace" to which the food is very good and the owners make you welcome the sea views and watching the sunsets while enjoying an evening meal are very memorable, the supermarket is just around the corner from it and basically stocks everything you will require Oh and the bakery is there too the smell alone will draw you in. It's just a short taxi or local bus journey in either direction to experience the local bars & restaurants where again the locals welcome you, there's something for everyone. I can't recommend highly enough that you take a walk around the Millionaires Harbour as the ocean going vessels moored up there are an insight into how the other half live. We are certainly making a reservation for 2017 for a second holiday here...
House is exactly as advertised, and well taken care of by the owner.
Some of the furniture could use an update but it didn't bother us too much. Most time was spend either around the swimming pool which was perfectly maintained even during our stay, on the sun deck with seaviews or out on one of the many beaches in and around Gumusluk.
Communication with the owner was very good, received many good tips about the area and even did some initial shopping for us so that we could start enjoying our vacation from the minute we arrived.

A bit of a late review but never mind. We had a lovely stay in July 2015 with our two teenage grandsons. Villa excellent, very comfortable, everything we needed and everything worked. Close to the Migros supermarket and bakery. Nice pool, lovely rooftop terraces where you could lounge about with a beer, a glass of wine and a good book. The Terrace restaurant adjacent to Migros serves really good food. Our hostess Tracy popped in frequently to service the pool and even stocked up the fridge prior to our arrival. All in all a great holiday and have no hesitation in recommending villa Priene
