“WHAT A TREAT!”
Reviewed 27 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We needed somewhere quite local to fit in all the extended family for a celebration and found this complete gem. Beautifully furnished, immaculately presented and just such a treat. We walked, talked, laughed, ate and drank our way through a thoroughly relaxing few days. This is a classic house that really does look as if it should be gracing the cover of a magazine but is such a comfortable, welcoming home.
Extremely well set up kitchen and loads to do. Top notch bedding and plenty of space for 3 generations to all be comfortable together and apart..

Thank you so much for your feedback. It was a pleasure to have you all with us and to see the mix of generations having such fun together. So glad you managed some of the excellent walks as there are so many routes to explore from the house. Hopefully we will see you back again next year. Very best wishes.

“Your own spacious farm house in the country! (For the weekend)”
Reviewed 8 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We booked Park Farm for a long weekend and had a lovely time. It is a gorgeous Farm house in the countryside with it's own woods, Aga and 3 wood burning fires. There was a lovely basket of goodies waiting for us and lots of information in the house about things to do and an OS map in the hall way ready to plan lots of walks. There is lots to do for kiddies, but we only had 1 toddler with us, but the puzzles kept her entertained. We really enjoyed our weekend at Park Farm, we cooked lots of meals with the Aga (and got the hang of it) and there was everything that we needed in the house.

Thank you so much for your comments and we really enjoyed having you with us for the weekend. It is so nice to see three generations enjoying time together and the house seems to work so well for families. Sounds like you had some fun with the Aga and that the Aga Cookbook guided you through preparing some delicious recipes! It really does produce the most succulent Sunday Roast lunch. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Best wishes.

“A delightful stay in a country idyll”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We stayed here as part of a family birthday and had a superb time. The owner could not have been more welcoming and the place was immaculate, being newly renovated. The views across the Somerset fields really are very special and it was great to have so much space around us. We were blessed with good weather that let us really enjoy the space and the woods above. Thank you for a lovely stay!

“Wonderful warm country house with ample space for a large group”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

12 of us stayed at park farm for 4 days 3 nights in October. The house has so much space, 3 living rooms, a large dining room which just about fits 13 people round the table, a massive kitchen (be prepared for aga cooking!) - but had a handy conduction electric hob as a spare if needed. The master bedroom, en suit and dressing room were VAST and a real treat. the only thing to note is the last double and 2 single beds are laid out as a family room in the rather than 5 double rooms and one twin. Not a problem though! Te owners, Franceska and John were so helpful and just a short distance away if we needed anything. Emails were answered promptly which was handy when trying to organise before hand. We'd recommend a week's stay, rather than a long weekend. There's plenty in the 10ish mile radius to see. The house had wifi, towels, clean and comfortable beds, a big tv, well equipped kitchen (bring or buy spices/oil/cupboard essentials etc if you plan on cooking lots), tennis courts and racquets, logs for a good fire, radio for the kitchen... Basically everything you need for a really good trip to the country! Would totally recommend it for the young and old :)

“A beautiful house in a peaceful location”
Reviewed 26 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Park Farm is found in one of the quietest most beautiful corners of south somerset. The house itself is wonderfully completed with exceptional facilities, a particularly splendid kitchen which can accommodate a large group and therefore create a real hub for the house. The bedrooms are decorated beautifully and the beds comfy. Outside the grounds are beautiful and there is wonderful countryside on your doorstep. All in all our stay was brilliant and the house was a joy to spend time in!
