We had a one bedroom villa for $120 a night. A great bargain considering how nice the whole property is as well as elegant and comfortable lodging. The salt pools is something very different I have never seen and appreciated but what really set this place apart from the rest is the access to the coves on the sea right in front of the pool areas. Also note that the restaurant at this place is really good.
The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because their variety at breakfast is practically a croissant or eggs. The most elegant of places in the Dominican Republic will have a huge variety of local and foreign breakfast dishes to offer, this place didn't even have Mangú!!! I don't care if Martians own this hotel (the owners are Italian) but not having this on your breakfast menu in the DR is a curse.
The breakfast aside I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bayahibe and would recommend it to anyone.More
