Firstly, an apology to the owners for the lateness of this review. We were (I believe) the first people to book a stay through Trip Advisor and I've been meaning to post a review since June.
This is a truly magnificent place. An idyllic spot right on the beach reached by a path along the edge of the sand, the house is beautiful with all the comforts of home. Out front, a leafy terrace has uninterrupted views across the gulf to the peninsula of Sithonia with the clouds on the summit of Mount Athos just visible in the distance. The sea is warm with good sandy access just a few metres away and the house itself is just on the outskirts of Afitos. A busy but friendly village with all the amenities you could want without it being overly geared for foreign tourists.
Also, a special mention for the owners, Tina and her husband, who met us in the centre of Afitos and took us to the house. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and they deserve nothing but good reviews.
All in all a truly special place.
This is a great place to stay. Location is excellent, on the beach and close to Afitos. The beach is lovely, water is clear and great for swimming. It is not crowded like other places in Chalkidiki. The house is beautifully decorated, with everything needed for comfortable stay. The yard is great. The neighboring area is quite, safe and suitable for relaxation. Tina is a great host, she welcomed us on the first day, explained everything and answered all the question we had. Thank you Tina. I really recommend this place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. We would definitely go there again. After staying in various hotels in Chalkidiki, this is definitely the best stay ever.
