First time self catering for us, but this was a cheap break away to relax, and that's what we did.
We arrived fairly late, easy check in, everything explained and given 2 tickets to get a free drink at the bar.
First impression, I wasn't impressed, I had booked a studio and we was upstairs so only had a small balcony. Very basic apartment and not much in the way of crockery, pans, cutlery etc, but enough to see you through but then we didn't plan on doing a gourmet meal. The oven had no racks inside, we didn't use it anyway but I am sure they would have been able to provide some had we asked.
2 single beds, uncomfortable mattress and no air con.
On the plus side it was spacious, clean and private. The kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge freezer all worked, and no issues with hot water.
Lots of coat hanger in wardrobes.
Television worked with English channels, and plenty of plug sockets.
Bathroom was clean and well presented, possibly had a refurb, good water pressure.
Towels changed every 2 days, bedding changed every 4 I think.
Maid was lovely and did a great job at cleaning.
The pool area is clean and tidy, never had a problem getting a sunbed or an umbrella, there is no need to leave towels on, but you always get people doing this. Sun loungers were comfortable as well. Open from 10am to 10pm in summer.
Pool bar we found to be over priced and everything you purchased had a 7% service charge, there are signs everywhere telling you, you can only consume drinks and food purchased from the bar, which surprised us due to be a self catering holiday. Gloria who runs it is a lovely lady, you do get large measures of spirits.
Now The Garden Snug Bar run by Owen is fantastic, Owen makes you feel so welcome and literally is a laugh a minute. His bar is superb and the prices are low, happy hour from 7pm -8pm, eg 2 bottles of Bud for 3 euros, only 4 euros after 8pm. Owen has a habit of throwing in free shots as well. Owen, Sam, Martin and Teresa thank you for making us feel welcome.
You can buy wi-fi for 3 euros per day, the more devices and days purchased the cheaper it is, but you can access free wifi inside/outside The Garden Snug Bar
Superb location, easy walk to centre and the beach, local restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets within the vicinity. There is a huge supermarket underneath San Eugene shopping centre, this is like an Asda or Morrison's and we found this to have the best exchange rates.
Luggage can be left and shower room available to use.
Free car parking if you hire a car.
We have booked again for next year.
Tips - pay the extra and get an apartment.
Go to Mario's Steak House for his famous t-bone steaks.
Avoid the Pizza place across the road next to Faces Bar.
These are not 5 star apartments, so don't expect them to be, they are cheap and cheerful and if you're only using them as a base, you can't go wrong.

Room Tip: If you book a studio, request ground level, you get a big outside area with sunbeds.

Stayed here with my wife in May ... on arrival we paid 70€ for a room upgrade to be at the bottom of the hill as my wife has problems with walking due to illness ... on entering our apartment we were greeted by a very worn and tired looking place ... the oven was rusty, the kettle didn't work, the patio doors were taped up with parcel tape to name but a few issues but we thought we'd give it a try all it was a cheap holiday ... on day 4 we woke to cockroaches running on the curtains and bedding ... killed said cockroaches and informed reception on our way out for breakfast. On returning later in the day the beds had been pushed back and changed but said dead cockroaches were still laid on the floor under the bed and hadn't been cleaned ... we were moved to another apartment on the 2nd row and everything seemed fine (apart from the dead roach behind the bathroom door) until the following morning we were greeted again by cockroaches ... we were then moved again to a 2 bed house by the pool which was fine for the last nights apart from the fact that it was up the top of the hill which we had paid 70€ to avoid ... on the plus side the pool and pool area are amazing with plenty of beds and brollys ... in a good location close to bars and shops with plenty of places to eat and drink ... would definitely visit adeje again but maybe not tinerfe gardens

Hi there, my wife and i back from our 4th stay at this hotel. We were there the 13th to 29th of May and had a fantastic time.
Our original booking was made for the 13th to 27th of May. We had booked a one bed roomed apartment. A few weeks before going we decided we would like to stay an additional two nights. Checked their website but they showed as fully booked so we looked at other possibilities via other booking sites. We were surprised to see an external booking showing a studio apartment as being available for the 2 nights we wanted so we booked this.
On arriving to check in, a young girl dealt with us and could not have been more pleasant or efficient. We explained about our stay being split across 2 bookings, she told us to come back see reception a few days before the end of our fortnight.
We were given keys to room 64 which was right next to the swimming pool and when we entered the room it actually turned out to be a 2 bed roomed apartment rather than one. Very spacious with large terrace with 3 sunbeds and a table and chairs.
The room contained a large screen TV with several UK channels.
Fully fitted kitchen with Oven, four rings, microwave, kettle and toaster. Large Fridge freezer with plenty of space in freezer to hold a large bag of ice. Furniture is dated but perfectly adequate and we were more than happy with it.
Towels are changed every two days with bedding changed every four starting from your day of arrival.
Bathroom was large with a walk in shower which had plenty of hot water at great pressure.
The Pool was very quiet with it being easy to get a sun bed at any time of the day. Friends from a hotel next door advised they were having to put towels out at six in the morning to get a bed, no such issues here.
Pool was shut for three days as they had to do some repair work but access still available to sun beds.
The pool side bar is excellent, great service and great value with Gloria remembering everyone she has ever served, really nice woman.
The snug bar is welcoming and competitively priced with Owen (should be Irish spelling) great fun.
The area is spotless and cleaned every morning.
Security guard mans the gate each evening which adds to secure feeling around the place.
As we neared the end of the fortnight we went to reception to see about changing rooms, entry times etc. for the additional two days we booked.
As soon as we walked in the young girl and another lady, immediately recognised us and said they had discussed our situation and that we should just keep our same room on for the additional days. This saved us so much inconvenience it was really appreciated.
The area around here is our favourite, so many great bars and restaurants, shout out to Irish Rover.
We have nothing but praise for this hotel and have already booked again for September.
Go ahead and give it a try.
p.s. free WiFi at snug bar downstairs, this can also be accessed from some areas of the pool closest to the bar. They also have paid WiFI should you wish but come fifteenth of June, roaming charges will be abolished and you should be able to use any data, calls and texts from your UK contract whilst abroad.

Room Tip: pay extra for a one bedroom rather than studios as the studios are right at the back of the hotel.
