This is a large sprawling resort with a mixture of accommodation types and three swimming pools. We had a one bedroom apartment but sadly the balcony was north facing and didn't get any sunshine. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Fridge was on its last legs and struggled to keep drinks cold, even after we defrosted it. Pool side food was OK, but nothing to keep you in the hotel for. we didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings, preferring to eat out. Plenty of other amenities for families.

Room Tip: Not rooms 234-238 no sun on balconies

Stayed at Hotel Isabel for 4 nights. Friendly helpful staff, food was reasonably priced as we didn't stay all inclusive.. villa was spacious and clean, a shame the spa whirlpool not warm as we didn't use it but the pools were great, no problems getting a sunbed and activities fun with the staff on a daily basis. In a great location and would stay here again.
Morning of my birthday there was a lovely surprise in the room as they left some flowers and a happy birthday wish which was a nice touch!

Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing our hotel for your special birthday visit.
Just to clarify, the small jacuzzis in the gardens of the villas are not heated, and so are used very little during the Winter months; nevertheless, they are very popular during the hot Summer season.
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciate your positive comments about our pools and our friendly & helpful staff.
We hope to see you again on a future visit to Tenerife.
Best regards

The Isabel is a family hotel but good for couples to. Very clean and the food is very good just a little cold at times nothing much to do in the evening if you want a bit of nightlife you would have to get a taxi to las Americas approx £8.00
Would return to this hotel.

Me, my wife and our 4 year old son arrived at this hotel around 5pm and right from the start were made feel welcome. Everything was friendly and inviting, the grounds, room and of course, the wonderful staff. My whole family was treated as royalty by the waiters and my son still talks about them. The animacion team were absolute heroes and the cleaning staff was just lovely.

We look forward to returning in July '17 knowing we are in for a nice, relaxing stay at our favourite hotel :)

Stayed here for Feb half term week, booked through Thomas Cook and paid £520 for a 1-bedroomed apartment. FYI, same accom, same week for next year would cost £720…….. But I won’t be staying next year - why, read on. I think I was the only parent that week with a child over 12 years of age. Hence all the kids clubs, shows & facilities were lost on us and that is not to say they weren’t fab if the other reviews are to be believed. What I like about this resort is indeed the ‘village-type’ layout and it is quite pretty but there are steps everywhere. Separate buildings house a mix of accommodation and it does feel safe and secluded. Our apartment was spacious, in good order with a nice balcony. Plenty of storage, equipment and thorough daily housekeeping. But why oh why, was there no washing up liquid & scourer? Is that the norm when self catering? The shower had fantastic pressure and plenty of hot water, towels, shampoo/conditioner etc were provided. The bathroom was quite large and also housed a bath. As mentioned previously, WIFI a problem, but only for my 16 year old daughter!!! I have to say - this is a great, budget-style holiday for families with young kids, given that the units sleep lots of people - a much cheaper alternative to a hotel where most hotel rooms allow only 1 child - a family of 5/6 would have to take 3. The array of stuff for kids to do and enjoy was huge and they all seemed to be involved and smiling. A bouncy castle was inflated every day, there was mini golf, zip wire, various ball games/competitions, mini disco, nightly shows etc etc. Let’s go back to the nightly shows - we watched 3 during the week (they start at 915pm) and it was tortuous each time but hey ho, their enthusiasm was applauded by all! There are 3 pools and we camped mostly around the newer one at the top end of the resort which was nicely heated. The sunbeds were plentiful but on top of one another but as this week wasn’t busy, not a problem. I didn’t like the astroturf underfoot - how is it cleaned? It wasn’t whilst we were there and twice, chewing gum stuck to my sandals. This is very much a family hotel, specifically for young kids. We ate in the restaurant one night and never again. The food was average but tell me this, why can’t (or won’t) parents teach their kids to sit quietly and eat quietly? Do I have the perfect children, no, but they certainly know how to behave appropriately, according to their environs and have done consistently since age 2! Same in the mornings, what parent thinks it acceptable to allow their kids to run around the resort screaming their heads off at 730am? The clientele were mainly German and English and more specifically Northerners, akin with lots of tattoos and a penchant for shouting whenever they spoke to someone in the pool or on the sunbed next door - you know the type. All in all, an enjoyable week of sorts, the weather was great (22oC) most days, cloudy sometimes but still warm. Sunset around 7pm. We had a couple of fantastic evening dinners at their sister hotel, Costa Adeje Gran around the corner - highly recommended. Won’t return but I think families with young kids will love it. ps. It is located in the best part - Costa Adeje, with every amenity to hand.
