“Relaxing stay”
Reviewed 4 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Lovely little cottage, just right for us & the dog. What a lovely surprise to find a homemade chocolate cake!. Tasted lovely. Found it a very relaxing stay. We were house hunting so not doing any local attractions except for one afternoon. Nice & easy to get around, good routes.

“Just right for a couple”
Reviewed 15 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

This one bedroom cottage is in a very quiet location in the Cheshire countywide but is very handy for visiting some nice places, especially Chester. There are a few good pubs serving food in the locality and supermarkets in Malpas 2 miles away.
We received a friendly greeting from the owners, who had placed a sponge cake in the property - a lovely touch. The property itself was ideal. It was very clean and well equipped with car parking a few yards away. When I say that my only complaint was that one small towel rail was rather inadequate and a shelf in the bathroom would have been nice, you can tell that it was generally perfect.
I would recommend this property.

“Lovely cottage and dog friendly too.”
Reviewed 8 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Sally and her family gave us a warm welcome on our arrival. Property, although only one bedroom was adequate for both of us along with our 3 dogs and cat. The location was central to us visiting family in Cheshire. Although a working farm we had very quiet days and nights there. Will come back again.

“Easter Break”
Reviewed 18 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Found this when looking for somewhere to stay to visit some friends and was very pleased with our choice. It is a warm and very comfortable accomodation, dog friendly which is always a bonus for us with two of our own. Lovely big shower room, comfortable bed, all mod cons including dishwasher in the kitchen. Not huge but perfect for two and very well kept. It is in a very nice part of the country, and location was great for us as able to visit all our friends in the north without travelling more that an hour in any direction. Not far from Chester which is always worth a visit and we had good weather too which was another bonusl. Also found a great dog friendly pub that served very good food. Will remember this holiday and would stay again if we visit this part of Cheshire again.

“Perfect place to chill”
Reviewed 17 August 2012 for a stay in August 2012

Have just spent 3 nights in Millmoor Farm - Carter's Cottage. Lovely, clean and very comfortable. I wanted for nothing and thoroughly enjoyed pottering about doing absolutely nothing. Set in beautiful surroundings Millmoor Farm is the perfect place to relax. Sally, Dave and their children are warm friendly people and during my short stay (way too short may I add) quickly learnt how much hard work goes into running a farm even so they made it look easy. All the animals are kept in good conditions and looked happy and healthy. The farm is well-maintained and the farmyard tidy and as clean as you can expect. And the cockerel was very accommodating and did not wake me up too early either! Millmoor Farm is perfectly located for tourist attractions - e.g Chester Zoo, Ice cream Factory, Candle making Factory. There are plenty of walks to chose from and Whitchurch is about 10 mins in the car. I can't wait to stay again and hope to do so before the year is out. Millmoor farm is ideal for everyone, lone travellers, couples and groups. I will be recommending to my friends and family. Brilliant break.
