This is a cafe, not a restaurant, and does what it does really well.
The tables are a bit cramped, you may end up sharing if only the large ones are left.
There's a long menu mostly variations of English breakfast, egg, chips etc. My cheese omelette was fluffy and cheesy, the fries piping hot, and it was bought to the table.
You order at the bar and bring drinks over yourselves.
There's a kiddies menu, basically smaller portions, it's on the side wall so not so obvious.
Only cash accepted, they have no debit/credit card machine.
We went in in boots and walking gear, and that was perfectly acceptable. There are outside tables for dog walkers.
For its location and customer base it is perfect. Hot, cheap food, plentiful and well cooked.
