“Wonderful place , very peaceful , great food friendly owners”
Reviewed 15 December 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Just arrived home after a 2 week stay at Mvuvi , we have been visiting Watamu for several years and usually go to one of the big all inclusive hotels but decided to try somewhere smaller so very glad we choose this place,it is a little oasis of relaxation, but only a five minute walk to the beach and a five minute tut tut ride from the bars and restaurants of Watamu.
There is no real need to leave Mvuvi as the food is wonderful and all fresh produce is used if there is nothing you like on the menu ask if possible Justin and Elisa will provide it.
It is beautiful here a small pool, clean spacious rooms with maid service every day, the gardens surrounding the pool, rooms , bar and seating areas are lovely, all you could need for a relaxing break but close enough to Excitement if that is your thing.
We really can’t wait to get back there as soon as possible.

“Great place near Arabuko Sokoke forest”
Reviewed 20 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

I wanted a place near Arabuko Sokoke forest and Mida Creek for birdwatching. This is one of the closest places and it turned out to be excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff, excellent food, and really nice rooms. Awesome!

“Peaceful and luxurious bungalow close to the beach”
Reviewed 8 April 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Mvuvi was excellent and great value for money. The rooms are luxurious and the area is very peaceful and safe. You can chill in the common area and have drinks from the fridge enjoying the Wifi. You can also lay down on a garden bed and look at the stars. Breakfast was very good and there is also possibility of dinner. The food is tasty thanks to the excellent cook. Justin and Elisa were very friendly and helpful, such beautiful people.
The beach is very close by and with the Ocean Sports beach resort. I went diving with Aqua Ventures and for that purpose Mvuvi was the perfect place to stay.

We stayed at Mvuvi for 10 days early march . The location for us was extremely convenient as we were fishing from Ocean Sports for five days .
The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff are very helpful and pleasant ,led by the owners Justin and Elisa . The food was very good and cooked fresh, one night they prepared a Kenyan meal which was very nice .
We will definitely be booking a stay here in future as it is good value for your money .

“the best kept secret in Kenya”
Reviewed 21 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

As a frequent visitor to the Kenya coast I6 have been fortunate to have stayed at all the hotels in the area. However Mvuvi had until now not been one of them. Well I have to say that I have missed a trick until now! This is an exceptional B and B ideally located for the nearby beaches, village and other amenities. The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond what would be required or expected and make what is already a discreet walled garden paradise a truly memorable location to visit. Located just behind Ocean Sports and Hemmingways, Mvuvi offers the best of both worlds being small and discreet yet sociable and humble. Justin and Elisa have achieved a true Kenyan gem of a B and B and we will certainly be back next year!
