We had a family meal together, with grown up children home together and a special occasion for us. We enjoyed our meal, although the service was slow. After we had ordered sweets, we were asked if we would mind eating the sweets In the bar area as other customers who had booked a table earlier were creating a fuss. We agreed, what more could we do. However, my son was incensed, and left the restaurant. The occasion had been spoilt and the sweets were not enjoyed. Although we we not charged for the sweets this was a paltry gesture; an enjoyable evening had been spoilt.
