Positives: the territory is decently maintained, there is no difficulty finding a bed at the beach, clean towels available all day from 8am till 5:30 pm. The spa center is pretty cool, and the Ukrainian lady at the desk is very friendly. Massage professionals are very good. Sauna and Turkish bath are free for the hotel guests. The food, especially salad and herbs are fresh.
There are animators walking around and putting together teams to play games. Winners get prizes! This is a great idea. Most people would play but don't know anyone. This way, they succeed to create a sense of community for the guests.
Btw, you have to speak Turkish or Russian. Very few people speak English or other languages.
Negatives: this is NOT are five-star hotel. Never. Ever. The rooms are dirty, the furniture is stained, lots of dead flies and spiders in the corners. The construction work inside is unfinished, the cement on the walls, counter and toilet bowl was never cleaned. Hot water is hot only a few times during the day, for the rest of the time it is of body temperature.
Staff: people at the reception are not friendly. There is some hierarchy there, and everybody tells you that your problem "is not their job", what I understood that only the manager can handle certain questions (such as early check-in or asking for a twin-bed room), and the manager is not eager to be courteous and listen to your problem. Forget about the eye contact or a smile on their faces. They are used to work with tourists from former USSR republics, and think that this level of service is good enough.
Also, there is not enough personnel to handle all the people at the reception.
The cleaning lady has no concept of hygiene: she dropped the pillowcase on the floor in front of me and didn't understand why I wanted another one. She never cleaned our bathroom and did not change towels.
First day at the restaurant I kept sending back dirty coffee cups, plates and glasses. I hope this had some effect: there were no dirty dishes today. The tables are served cafeteria style, with the traffic of people the personnel barely handles to keep the place running. I had to ask for clean utensils, napkins and water all the time. The buffet is okay, however they don't have a variety nor the service of a five-star all-inclusive hotel worldwide. There are a few meat dishes, and the ones I tried were not delicious. Nothing surprising.
The beach is very small. It's only 50 meters long, while hundreds of hotel guests are trying to get in the water.
I will definitely not come back.
