I visited the caves this week in the middle of one of the coldest spells Tasmania has seen in years, and even with snow settled on nearby peaks the caves are beautiful.
Thanks to recent rains the cave system was wet and it added another dimension, where you could see how the stalactite and stalagmites are formed. The straw's were amazing, and I loved the champagne fountain and bottle, which you will have to see on your visit.
It's a long drive out there but well worth it, out guide was wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly, and it was great to see more of Tasmania's natural wonders.
