We have only visited this cafe for morning coffee/drinks and found it very peaceful. If you want a beach away from it all then this is ideal for you. The service is good and the prices are reasonabe. The only down side for me is the insistence on having music playing. You come to this place to get away from that and it is not even good music. The beach is very close by and it can be rocky in parts and further up it is frequenetd bya small nudist area but it is not intrusive. Many locals come down to the beach on a daily basis

This end of the beach is very quite..not a place to wander round at night
I sometimes take the dog through the rocky grass but you are not allowed to go on the beach with dogs but some people do
there is a little cafe on the beach..some people do sunbathe but its a bit too quite for me
mainly spanish people come here as the beach is rocky and the water by the big rocks is very deep and choppy which they seem not to be wary off .i often watch as swimmers jump from the rocks into the sea.. it is deserted most of the time down this end

This site has been renamed to playa del callao but it is still awful.
It is not a beach. Just a cafe near the very rocky front behind the Costamar apartment block.
Some reviews are describing the next beach (tarajales) down towards the side of the sensimar arona gran hotel. This is where they play boules every morning at 10.15am.
The real los cristianos beach is 10 minutes walk north to the harbour. This is a real sandy beach and we'll worth a visit
