Rooms are well maintained. Clean and cosy. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Although staff really should not be knocking on our doors at 11pm to get us to sign our bill! It happened 2 nights in a row. (We needed to wake up at 4am to dive!)

Wifi was mostly non-existent.

The food is good! Best food on the island.

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor are more accessible

kokay's maldito dive resort , well I can say that this place is nice, what you will see in their website photos are the same when you see the place. we arrived early at malapascua and mariel, one of the staff allowed us for an early check in. Thanks to her we had a chance to freshen up. Me and my husband are all wet because of that bumpy boat ride ..

when it comes to food variety, they have a wide range of menu you can enjoy. ooh and they have this delicious ice cream, I think it's an italian ice cream. our room is pretty nice , we stayed in the room near the shore . from our room you can see the beach and there is a hammock to sit on and relax.

malapascua is a pretty laid back town , if you are looking for a place to relax this is the place to be. not congested and at night you can just seat , listen to the waves and watch the stars while enjoying your favorite drink..

Such a nice, friendly, cozy place. Its nice just to be there. Decor is funny and warm. Location is perfect. It also holds a nice dive center. I am enjoying everything about this place even with a bad weather. Ah the food is good too and breakfast is included. If you make to beautiful Malapascoa stay here. You will probably like it as much as everyone I met in here. Just amazing.

Extremely helpful staff make this a wonderful place to stay on a magical island.
Wood fired oven and experienced though very young pizza chef make this a great choice for an evening's dining overlooking the little bay.
Tiny bit of scorching on the pizza -that's fine. Like it on both occasions I had one (and just like the photo in the menu!) Lovely.
Fries are fine cut and Home fried potatoes are sliced jacket potatoes with rosemary sautéed.
Photo won't upload.

Although at first I didn't like the turmeric coloured building, the resort really grew on me. The rooms are very quirkily decorated but actually they are rather cute. We had room 11 upstairs in the corner, which had a small but good beach view. The only thing with the layout is that the downstairs level is super exposed to the restaurant and bar area (plus the divers continually walking thru from the beach to the dive shop Dive Society). I think it would be good to put in some type of wall or separation to give more privacy.
The hotel's restaurant is very good with an extensive menu. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings, although the sound didn't carry too much which was a relief. The breakfast (which was included) was fantastic.
The love heart sun lounges although cheesy were really comfortable. Definitely enjoyed some hours on them in between dives.
The staff were all very lovely and accomodating. The service in the restaurant was pretty good compared to what we experienced elsewhere.
