A lovely place to visit. Its family friendly there are some stairs so be aware of that if you have walking issues other than that its an easy walk in circle you can see the site and move on. I would wait till the later part of the day so there are less people and traffic. Also, be aware of the season if you are going for the glow worms.

Lots of people around on a fine Tuesday morning with school holidays just started but still able appreciate the location. The rock formation is very impressive. Pathways are good but there are stairs to climb to do an entire circuit and to go down under the natural bridge itself to admire the waterfall.

Long walk but worth the effort. This is another of Mother Nature's magic here. The only disappointment is the amount of rubbish, third world filthy toilets and several obviously transient people wandering around looking in car windows. This is a part of a National Park, clearly Qld govt. and Councils need to review the need for consistent presence of Rangers to monitor and action for upkeep and maintanence, sadly neglected at present.

Natural Bridge is about a 45 - 50 minute drive from Surfers Paradise along a winding road, but it is definitely worth it! The scenery along the way is beautiful and the Natural Bridge itself is amazing. There is a lot of signage along the road to tell you how far it is and where you need to turn and a small car park and toilet facilities when you arrive.

We arrived about 45 minutes before sunset, but it only takes around 5 minutes to walk there. There are some steps but not too many. My Mum who has bad knees was able to do it. When you get there, you can view the waterfall from outside the cave or walk down the steps into the cave to view it from inside. Given we were there just a little before sunset and on a cloudy day, the cave was quite dark already and we were able to see some glow worms which was amazing!

We might have been able to see a few more but unfortunately a family with children entered the cave just before us making loud sounds and shining lights inside the cave - there is information before you start the walk advising not to do either of those things or the glow worms light can go out for up to half an hour.

There are expensive tour groups you can join to see the glow worms, but there really is no reason to pay. Just go here before sundown and not only can you enjoy the waterfall, but you can see the worms for free!
