We visited Springbrook National Park on 21/08/16 (own transport is required!). We were glad to have visit the natural bridge first as it was quite out of the way as compared to other lookouts. The walking track towards the natural bridge were still ok. After some walking, you would be able to see the Springbrook waterfall. Personally I found the weather at the park to be cold so for those who were scared of cold, please take note. Next, we hopped on to the lookouts as indicated on the maps. Out of those, Purling Falls and best of all look out still remained fresh in my memory. For Purling Falls Lookout, it was an easy walk of 100m from the car park. Upon reaching there, we noted that there were few hiking tracks so hubby and I decided to embark on one. We chose the normal circuit (4km) to & fro. It was not an easy walk for someone who seldom exercise like me. There were many steps and along the way there were many rocks and could be slippery. However we never regretted. The view of the waterfall at the bottom of the mountain was way more beautiful than the top! For the best of all lookout, I could only use "wow" to describe. Its a lookout that definitely cant be missed! General suggestion: To start hiking early and leave before it gets dark.

Awesome hiking track with seriously cool views and a stunning waterfall at the bottom. Good place to swim in summer. Perfect place to walk even in summer. Went in the middle of summer and it was very cool to walk.

We spent 4 wonderful days & nights in Springbrook. First time visit & we loved it. Great weather, lots to see & explore. Also enjoyed eating places like Scuttleback Cafe, Dancing Waters Cafe, Pollys Country Kitchen & The Fudge Shop. Walking trails range from easy to moderate. We did most except the 5+ hour trails. Trails are beautiful - range of vegetation, geological formations, waterfalls, swimming pools (to cold in August despite being very tempting), lookouts. Only negatives were: some signage needs improving, and too many people dropping rubbish (especially white tissues!!).

Wonderful place to explore and discover the bush. Great time with friends. Roads are good. Parking can be an issue.
