The Mirage has been up and down over the years. It has a long history of places going broke. The northern area is pretty empty but my two favourite restaurants are still good. Omeros and Glass are standout restaurants and two of the best on the coast.
The shopping is good for a browse but way overpriced. Good parking downstairs but low ceiling 1.9m.

We have stayed here many times and I thought I would write a review because the team here did a good job on a busy weekend.
Check in was slow on a hot Friday afternoon and there were definitely angry customers some with children waiting in a big queue. However the staff did their best and were issuing free drinks to disgruntled customers.
Our room was good. Love the space here. And right on the beach.
I think the pool area is run very well. It may be a bit old but it all works and it is very relaxing.
The breakfast has an extended offering. Staff work hard and make you feel welcome.
Gymn next door is old but still adequate.

If you are visiting the Gold coast make sure to visit Marina Mirage is about a 5 min drive from Surfers Paradise and is located just of the broad water so the views are great. When i say something for everyone , theres restaurants for all tastes some expensive but also places that are affordable , my favourite place would be the Fishos tavern its got great views of all the yachts and boats and the meals are reasonable and they always have a great band playing its great for families, there is also a really good fish and chips shop a few minutes walk from the Marina. Also at night time it looks amazing all the boats have their lights on the water lights up you can see fish swimming everywhere around the docks, me and my son love having dinner at the tavern getting a hot chocolate and going for a walk along the wharf.

Stumbled across the shopping centre, hidden amongst the marina.

Filled to the brim with shops that cater for every taste. It is a welcome retreat from the hotels designed to capture your coin from a Seaworld visit.

My friend and I really enjoyed Marina Mirage. We shopped a little then had a wonderful lunch overlooking the marina. Lovely atmosphere, a nice variety of boutiques and delicious dining options.

Fine Dinning, Casual Dinning, this place has it all......and for the ladies there’s shopping ..... seafood was the way to go with a great glass of Aussie white wine, very nice and they looked after the kids and made them feel important as well.

Very poor service. The business owner and skipper of our boat for the morning, were terribly rude and unprofessional. We decided to end our trip early, as the mood was ruined and became quite uncomfortable.

Free parking, covered shopping area. Nice collection of shops and cafes. Clean toilets. A bit of the beaten track so not overly busy. Great to be able to look at the Marina whilst taking a break from shopping.

It’s not a bad place to visit, plenty of shops to look around and places to sit down and have a coffee or something a little more formal.

With Pacific Fair only 15 minutes away, offering the same high end brands, a place like this appeals to the more pretentious people who think they “need” to be seen there. Which you can see within 2 minutes of waking into the place.

The coffee shops are nice and the walk to see the boats is great for the little ones also. I like Providores, fantastic place for a coffee and little something sweet.
