This area is amazing with Cadiz and Jerez close by this hotel is in a great location for seeing some of the most amazing parts of Southern Spain. However I did not expect to find it so hard to leave the hotel and the restaurant. One of the best beach locations I have seen and wow the variety of excellently prepared food was really good, if not a bit dangerous for the waist line. Thanks goodness there is so much to do nearby including the two Seve designed Golf courses, Tennis and the new Croquet pitch? A bit gutted this was a business trip but I will return with my clubs.

A great location at the marvalous Barossa beach. Staff is very helpfull. We stayed here already 6 times but always had to truggle for a better located junior suite which has been given after one or more days.

We spent a few days at this great hotel! The animation team were fantastic and super friendly, especially luis and Sophie! Buffet food was exceptionally good for a 4 star. Once again the staff were efficient and friendly. We ate a few times at sea soul, one word- Amazing. Very tasty food and outstanding service. Marin the manager is doing an amazing job, we loved his energy and enthusiasm for his job. We will definitely come back again and our first stop will be the sea soul! Thanks guys

We would highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a fun, beach and pool hotel based summer holiday.

The Royal Andalus is situated in a quiet resort on an excellent beach. Public areas are scrupulously clean and modern, the 2 main swimming pools are large (37m & 25m), there are fun pools with slides and an inflatable jump bed for the children and there are usually sunbeds available for those who like to relax pool-side.

The restaurant offered a tremendous quality and varied selection of food. Themed nights added to the variety and we found the fish, grill and pot roast dishes to be excellent and the Lobster themed evening was spectacular.

We were very impressed with the quality of staff, most of whom were local, tremendously customer focussed, and took great pride in their region. This was particularly true of Javier (in the Manolete restaurant), Luis, Meleras (in the Bar), Clara, Peixeras and Lola who are all fabulous assets to the hotel.

There is also a very energetic animation team who make the Royal Andalus a great choice for families with children. Plenty of entertainment, fun games, Aquagym, Zumba and aerobics - and for those more interested in keeping fit in a "full on" way the 10am Spinning Class in particular looked particularly rewarding!!! (although I admit we didn't try it).

Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Ours had a great view - it was a little bit of a squeeze for 2 adults and a child - but workable - others in our party had slightly larger rooms in the same classification which would have worked better for 3.

There are two areas were we believe the hotel can improve,

Some of the staff in Reception (not all) are less friendly and approachable than their counterparts in bar, restaurant - they seem to be more finance/administration types. When returning towels to reception to collect a deposit - I was asked by one member of staff to produce a receipt first - resulting in a return trip back to the room - it felt a bit process orientated and unnecessary - and the engagement was not in keeping with the friendly way other members of staff approached their customers.

The biggest frustration is parking. 15 Euros a night and the bays are far too small. This means guests park across multiple bays and there is far less capacity than there should be. The charge is too high and the parking is inadequate in busy summer months. Customers don't want to spend their holiday time - having paid 15 Euros to park - searching for spaces. Having a car in this location is a definite advantage - making this important

Room Tip: rooms on the right facing into the pool areas on 1st and 2nd floors have excellent sea views for fabulous sunsets in summer!

I am always looking for a place that I could wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family and where I could come back year after year. Sadly after just 24 and a bit hours I can definitely say i will not be coming back to this place. Rooms and food are average at best and attention to detail poor. I am not sure what it is about European customer service in general and this place has already provided 3 separate examples in just 24 hours but being friendly, putting a smile on your face and just doing your job is not that hard. It feels like I am interrupting the staff or like u am a nuisance when asking for a simple drink at the bar. If I dealt with clients the way that I have been treated then I would be out of a job. Very disappointing that i paid so much money and made to feel not welcome. They take 100% of the payment but provide a fraction of that in service. But hey as long as people keep paying and coming nothing changes. Last time for me and my family at an iberostar resort. I gave them a second chance but see now this is not an exception.

To the hotel management - please do not write standard "thank you for your feedback and we take is seriously replies" but rather address the issues and do quality management. I am happy to provide you a basic lesson in customer service. Currently staying for another week and a half. Can't wait for this to be over!
