We were expecting to be spooked and thrilled. However, the show was a bunch of actors and dancers who were having the time of their lives by the look of them but it was very unsophisticated. The meal was good drinks great, costumes amazing but the content of the show was disappointing. What did a revue of INXS have to do with vampires? About half an hour was spent on watching video clips of all the visitors arriving two by two in the little carts called the ghost train. That was real cheap entertainment! All in all I would describe the show as making me want to cringe with how ridiculous it was.

A great night out. From beginning to end the whole night is themed. Great show, good food. Well worth the money and a must do on the Gold Coast.

We wernt too sure of what to expect as we were told that this show wasnt as good as the last one, but wow....if this was their worst performance, I would love to see their best! My other half wasnt keen on it at all and was dragged there (hehe) and he was laughing more then the rest of us! Will be back for sure!

For the first time since we had our baby, my husband and I went on a date to Drac's. We were both very excited, and even got the VIP tickets!

When we arrived, we were immediately met with characters of the theatre Restuarant and couldn't wait to get inside. The complimentary champagne and canapés were great! And having a look around all the different rooms, decorated with scenes of thrill and horror really made our night. The ghost train was good too, although it sounds a lot more scarier than what it actually is. (Ps: smile (or pull a funny face) for the camera, they take photos and videos of you while someone jumps out and scare you).

Once we sat down, we found the service great! The waitress(es) really made the night with funny one liners and jokes (which is on you)! They are quick thinking so you might need to be ready with a few of your own if you want to return a joke or two!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that nice (you get a leek and chickpea pie for entree, and a few choices for main. Dessert is a chocolate coffin with mousse, and is very sweet. The presentation of the food however is great).

The show takes forever to start, and we had finished our dessert by the time something happened. The show lacked spark, it had no story line, and had a lot of weird things that made no sense. I really wish there was more of a dracular/Frankenstein theme, or something with ghosts....?? Instead SpiderLash is full of slow moving sexy dances that come at you when you want to be scared or at the very lest entertained with something that flows with act before. There is also an overkill with INXS songs, and at the end a massive tribute! Why? I don't know, nothing made sense about the show!!!

We left sorely disappointed with the show, but at least enjoyed the drinks and the service!

If you do decide to go, pay for VIP seats, the seat it self makes it worth the extra money.
