Fancied something different for a quick meal, and ordered the tapas. Food wasn't quick but it was tasty and relatively filling. Waitress was helpful and quick. Must have been a record pint pour. Both drinks at the table within a minute of ordering! Left satisfied so I'd certainly recommend.

We were recommended here by the team at Big Als and it was perfect. The service was outstanding, quick, efficient and friendly. The menu is no fuss Mexican, just good food, not too pricey and delicious. Lovely atmosphere with roaring fire. Family
friendly, but not obtrusive if you are a couple. The margueritas were the best we have ever had - but they will knock your socks off. Enjoy.

We always make sure we fit a dinner in at the last post when at Mt Hutt. Great range of beer on tap before dinner, with fantastic range of tappas available. The wine list is smart, with Australian shiraz and NZ pinot. The raging fire adds the final touch on a cold Methven evening.

A wonderful selection of quite reasonably priced fsh & chps cooked by people who seem to know what they are doing with excellent blues music in the background.

We had a fantastic time in the great little theater in Methven we had booked for dinner 7.30 ish
Greeted OK just, service was good , menu simple , interesting .
Decided to share the corn bread , and the mushrooms , waiter said the mushrooms would be great for two as there was six small one's this turned out to be three.
the Corn bread was impossible to cut and resembled a crumbly muffin.
Two venison mains , one vegetable stack , one Fillet Mignon The venison was tasty but small , vegi stack was not a stack ,was burnt and no taste, no sign of bacon on the Mignon but a big splash of mash .
all meals were lacking, and too expensive
