“Perfect apartment, perfect location”
Reviewed 5 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Would highly recommend this apartment. Its very nicely decorated, great modern shower room and well equipped kitchen. Very close to the beach and the Giants Causeway, perfect for exploring. Comprehensive directions were provided in advance with contact numbers in case of a problem. A welcoming hamper was a nice surprise!

“The place to stay in Portballintrae !”
Reviewed 3 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Fabulous cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Tastefully decorated by people who obviously have a keen eye for design. Great communication and welcome from owners (especially the fee bottle of wine). Kids really impressed with the Wi Fi and Sky Q. Great location to explore Antrim Coast, 15 minute walk to village of Bushmills which has a good selection of eateries and the distillery !! Would definitely return and recommend.

“Could hardly be bettered!”

We were absolutely delighted to be able to stay a couple nights here, and were sorry that we didn't have a week!

This is a lovely two storey unit with the bedrooms below, and the open plan kitchen/living area above, with a view over fields. The whole unit was clearly new, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. The large and comfortable lounge even had Sky TV, so I was able to catch up on a couple of episodes of Game of Thrones, so appropriate in this location! The bathroom was spacious and efficient (although my wife felt that a cabinet for her bits and pieces might have helped) with plenty of hot water. The bed was Aussie queen-size, comfortable, and cozy. If there is one suggestion that I could make it would be to add a thin, close-fitting blackout blind to the bedroom windows - the timber venetians are lovely, but don't keep out the light enough for sleeping at this time of year.

The location couldn't be bettered on the outskirts of Portballintrae, and very close to Bushmills itself (walking distance, really). A short drive to the Causeway in one direction, and Dunluce Castle in the other.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the time we spent here, and would certainly stay again if the opportunity arose. Thank you very much for hosting us, Martyn.

“What a delightful surprise.”
Reviewed 18 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We were quite impressed with the pictures of the cottage but they dont do it justice. The cottage was a delightful surprise and set in a wonderful picturesque Bay.
Would highly recommend.
The only downside for me was that my wife loved the decor so much that I now have to redecorate at home!
