This 18th century mill is now owned by the town, and still grinds spelt, wheat, and other flours. It is open for tours on Wednesday afternoon, from 14:00 to 16:00, and Saturday mornings after 10:30. When I visited on a Saturday morning, I met the old miller himself, himself the son of a miller, who personally guided me through the entire structure. There are great views from the upper platform, and you can get close enough to the main gears to touch them. It is a thrill to experience a working mill, so much a part of the history of the Netherlands
