We had a recommendation to eat at the restaurant, which is close to the lake front, by a local. She said that the food was very good and reasonably priced. She was right. We loved sitting outside under the arch of branches above us and eating on red checked table cloths. The waiter was so friendly and helpful assuring us that if it rained (it did) he would move us inside.
I had the carp croquettes to start and really enjoyed their flavour while my wife had bruschetta which was good. Then I had the pork with onions and mash which was tasty while my wife had smoked tench tagliatelle. Watch out for the small bones warned the waiter. It was lovely according to madam who fortunately didn't choke on the bones.
We had half a litre of the house wine which at 5 euros was great value and perfectly drinkable. For dessert we share millefeuil with caramised peach and ice cream. Very tasty. The whole meal ended up at 50 euros. We loved the atmosphere and it was quickly full with locals and tourists. Perhaps book if you want to ensure a table as we did. Most enjoyable and happy to recommend it to you.
