My friends and I felt blessed and lucky that 41 was open during the quiet winter months in Santorini. I came here several times during my summer stay on the island, but at that time I was always outside on their luxurious, comfortable sunbeds sipping delicious, reasonably priced cocktails while enjoying the best beach on the island . My favorite spot by far. I was pleasantly surprised and overtaken by my winter dinner experience inside this beautiful establishment. To start, our waiter was so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He took his time to tell us all about the history of this old tomato factory and gladly showed us around. I was astonished at the addition of the newly built wine cellar. It's beyond incredible, with prison-like bars and such a wide selection of wines. A great place to take photos with friends. The waiter went over the menu thoroughly and helped us in deciding the perfect dish to suit our taste buds, while recommending a superb wine to pair with our meal. We chose a local Santorini dry white wine to go with our fish. The meal not only came out in a timely fashion, but was appealing to all of our senses. The appearance, the aroma, to the exquisite taste and texture, were all divine. Impeccable experience at 41! I highly recommend this restaurant to all travelers of various class and age to visit 41 while on this magical island!
