The owner of the hotel picked us up from the port, our ferry was about half an hour late and he still waited for us.. We were worried he might have left and not waited around but he was waiting there with a smile on his face. While he drove us to the hotel he pointed out important places such as where the supermarket is etc. He also carried our luggage into our room. The hotel is about a 3 minute drive away from the port and about a 5 minute walk into town. It was very close to a lovely little beach.

If you wanted to visit other beaches on the island you can take a short boat ride from the port to each beach. A ticket cost us €5 return, which allows you to get on and off at any beach as many times as you want. The water is so clear and calm. I would recommend you doing this.

The hotel was clean and quiet and we had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony. The air-conditioned room was spacious and they provided you with things such as a mosquito plug, a tin containing a sewing kit. The only thing missing was a safe. It also provided plates, knives and forks etc, however the hob had a cover on it which was screwed down so stopped you from cooking anything. The bathroom had a powerful shower and there was also a hair dryer.

On departure he dropped us off at the port in his car with our luggage and was very polite saying bye. He was lovely man.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to others. The reason I gave this hotel a 4 stars and not 5 stars is because it didn't have a swimming pool. Everything else about this hotel was great.

Beautiful, big and clean room with all the basic comforts. You don't need many extras in a cosy island like Koufonisi !
Walking distance to all beaches (not Pori) bars, restaurants etc. Very kind stuff
Great sea view
A little bit expensive as the whole island but worth to visit!
Unbelievable sea and beaches!!!

Everything was managed quite professionally from Mr. Iannis.
They came to pick up us at the port, and he was really kind, allowing us to take a shower during our last day in the late afternoon, as the checkout was at 11am(as for all the accommodations), and the boat at 8pm.
Close to the village and its beachq...anyway Koufonissi is a really small small reality!
Comfortable room with old TV and air conditioning+common terrace with a small view on the beach.

As mentioned in title our room was spacious, clean and nice with a large patio just outside for night cap before going to sleep. The hotel offers strong and stable Wi-Fi signal with a good speed that seems like luxury for the island since it's not taken for granted elsewhere. The hotel is missing my fifth star because despite being on the top of a hill, it doesn't offer a clear view to the sea. I wasn't cool with the olympiakos flag either but that didn't affect my rating and review. The man running the place is nice and helpful.

We stayed at Dafnis Studio in July (five days).

The studio is very good for everything: location (very close to the chora), room nice and clean.
In addition the owners, Joaniss and Dafnis are very kind and two delicious people.

We strongly suggest their studio to all those are planning to spend theri vacation in the amazing Koufonissi!

Antonio & Alessandra (from Parma-Italy)

Room Tip: there is no traffic where Dafnis studio is based. Rooms at the first floor offer a nice view of the chora and sea.
