My wife found this on Trip Advisor, on our last night in Italy. We were on our way home and staying nearby. We went in for a glass and some oysters and ended up staying all evening. Paola, is so sweet and passionate about what she does. This is not traditional Italian, but it's all available. She has a love for great food and wine, regardless of where it's from. We had Iberico ham, pickled baby peaches, fresh sea urchin, and 24 oysters. The oysters were imported from France, and better than any I've had in the U.S. and Canada. We paired them with a Fume Blanc, and a cheap Chablis. Paola actually talked me into a lower priced wine that she thought would pair with the food better. She is a sweet, sweet lady, and made the last night in Italy a pleasure. I plan on visiting her establishment every time we leave Italy. And, be nice, because she loves nice people and rude people, won't fit in here. Ciao!

This is located on the main strip of restaurants in Fiumicino. There are a few tables outside, and more in a back room. The wine selection is good, and the prices even better.

Great night out before you fly.
Huge selection of wines to uncork a good time!
Interested staff and reasonable prices.
I wish we were leaving twice, so I could do it over.

We discovered this little gem while staying the night to await a flight. Paola is a fun young lady who clearly loves her life. Beautiful oysters are shucked on order and a lovely selection of cheese, salami, prosciutto etc are offered. Paola is most knowledgeable about Italian wines.I would warmly recommend for light lunch or before/after dinner.

When you spend much of your time traveling for business to different places, one of the most enjoyable things is to happen across small local bars and restaurants where you feel completely at home.

If on top of this you are fortunate to meet a proprietor who has huge passion for what they do and as a result serves fantastic wine, oysters and an array of other seasonal delicacies from the sea and land then what more could you ask!

If you're in Fiumicino for 1 night or 1 week, make this your first stop. You might not venture anywhere else!!

Paolo speaks great English and her knowledge of oysters is incredible. Just don't ask for lemon to go with the oysters ,, but do ask why as it makes complete sense ....

Enjoy
