Absolutely loved visiting this café at the foot of Hohenstein Castle. They have a lovely terrace where you can sit outside, have some coffee and, of course, the traditional puffs. They offer a wide selection of flavors, including all kinds of berries, vanilla, chocolate and walnut. Prices are reasonable - 5,50 € for a small puff and 7,40 € for a large portion. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's the perfect place after a couple of hours hiking and a visit to the nearby castle. Would definitely come here again!

Good service, and they are mostly a weekend thing for many visitors, very frequented by the locals, the desserts are nothing out of this world, but they are a tradition, so... its up to you, I wouldnt drive very far to visit them, but cool if you are in the area.

After a long walking this is the best place to drink a coffee and eat something sweet. And when i say something sweet I mean a big portion of "puff" (windbeutel) filled with cream and fruit sauce on the top. The choice of puffs is big, so enjoy it :)

Maybe it is a calorie bomb but who is counting? Tastes good and its served in a generous portion, if you are in the nearby castle stop here for the giant profiterole popular with the locals
