We found this hotel via a third party site when searching for quality spa deals for a much needed mini break and we were not dissapointed. The spa and rest package included overnight stay, spa treatment, full use of spa facilities, two course dinner n breakfast the following morning.
Travelling from London, we were met by the usual traffic which unfortinately delayed us quite a bit and ultimately ate into the timing booked for our first treatmeant. However when we called to informed the hotel the stafd at the spa was very efficient at sorting out a later time for us to ensure we didnt miss out which made us very happy.
The Swedish back massage and facial were both very nice and relaxing. The spa itself was also nice, especially the outdoor hotub. Thought overall it is quite small, which, I guess does suit the character of the country house.
We were lucky enough to stay in a contemporary double room which was gorgeous, especially the massive double rainfall shower, which is a showstopper feature.
The food was also lovely as was the wine. The service was great and everything was delicious.
Overall, we would definitely stay again as we truly had a lovely stay. My only criticism would to perhaps look into refurbishing the spa area overall as though it's cute and country-esque some parts do look a bit tired.
