We rented Westdene to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday. It was a family get-together with Grandad coming to stay as WL. The accommodation was excellent. The kids loved the triple bunk bed and there was plenty of room for all of us. The rooms were bright and very clean. The garden was great for the kids to run around in and they enjoyed playing with some of the outdoor toys they found in the shed. The location is great too. We had a lovely time down at Hove Lagoon, the beach is a stone's throw away and, being right on the bus route, we were easily able to get in and out of the city centre each day on the double deckers. Hoping to make Westdene an annual holiday from now on.
Very pleased with the accommodation, clean and spacious. Kettle broke while we were there and was replaced later that day. We had a lovely time. Thank you!

Stayed here 17-20 June for the London to Brighton cycle ride. I was advised to stay in Hove as it was less crowded and had excellent transport links and it was the best advice I received. Westdene is located approximately 2.5 miles from Brighton pier and can be reached by the main road which runs adjacent tithe sea front and Marine Parade. About 10 minutes by car, 15 minutes by the National Cycle route or a leisurely 45 minute walk. Alternatively, there is an excellent bus service with a bus stop less than 5 minutes away. A one day virtual bus pass can be bought GBT via an app and prepaid by credit or debit card. Bus takes you right into the town centre and via Churchill place and The Lanes. Westdene is a semi-detached house with a hall area leading to a spacious kitchen and a sizeable garden with a pub-style bench. Downstairs there are separate living room with two settees and dining room. Main room at front of house is big and also contains a cot. Another double room and a smaller room with bunk beds are spacious. One bathroom and another toilet on first floor. Blend linen and towels are provided. There is room for one car on the drive otherwise parking is very busy in the road. This was a family weekend and we were totally comfortable -would certainly choose to stay here again than book 3 rooms in a hotel. Very clean and Amy is extremely efficient - she refunded our deposit by the end if the day we left. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
