The value of this stay was really good (price/quality/experience).
We arrived when it was dark and luckily my husband had packed a flashlight (!). It was totally dark and stormy, but a short walk in the darkness was an adventure. For the future I would recommend that the hostel gives some guidelines for the guests arriving after the darkness. The hostel is situated in the national park, which is why it is not allowed to install the lights on the path.
The service is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very simple, typical hostel style, not less not more. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Also pillows, blankets and sheets are very clean. Central heating is really warm, which is great in Winter. The Internet worked well in the room above the reception, The breakfast was totally ok. Remember to bring your own towels if you want to save some euros. There is a cosy bar downstairs. Other guests were also very nice and friendly.
We had a great walk in the forest and on the beach the next day despite a stormy weather. There is a cafe on the beach. Great place for kids to run around.More
