This is a very typical Spanish apartment set in a rural location despite being very close to the main C32 road and is great for walking and nature watching. It's quiet, clean and the pool is lovely. Andreas the owner always responded quickly to e mails and offered to get us in some groceries as we arrived during a public holiday.
We stayed there because we were going to a wedding at the nearby Almiral de la Font and the accommodation for the six of us worked well because we felt that we had the place to ourselves.
The kitchen was well equipped and the large balcony was big enough for us all to eat on with far ranging sea views.
You definitely need a car, it's five minutes to a large Aldi and the centre of Sant Pere de Ribes.
Take insect repellent because there is no air conditioning and the windows have no mosquito nets on them. The building is cool but we slept with the windows open at night and did get some bites.
The fridge could have been a bit cooler and it would be good if the washing machine in the kitchen was replaced with a dishwasher. Six people make a lot of washing up!
We stayed here over Christmas as my family live in Sant Pere. Andreas was very helpful as we had not realised that the apartment on the top floor didn't have it's own sitting room (there was a large sitting room, with fire place, and dining room on the ground floor which was shared with Andreas and his mother but we wanted our own privacy). We decided to move into the totally self contained apartment on the side of the house, which was very well equipped, with a very good shower room, kitchen, comfortable bedroom and large sitting room with log burner. The property is set in a fantastic location, great views, lovely walks direct from the house, only 10 minutes (if that) from the beaches and the great towns of Vilanova and Sitges. I can see that the pool area would be lovely in the summer.
We stayed at the top floor apartment - a family of five. The host, Andreas was very welcoming, catering for all of our needs. The house is huge and very beautiful, so are the surroundings - vineyards and groves. It was easy to reach Barcelona by car and Sitges (a delightful coastal town full of restaurants, a Palace museum and shops) is just minutes away. Would be back.
