We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2016. Having stayed several times in Barcelona, we thought that this would give us the best of both worlds. It has very good connections by bus or train to Barcelona and also south to the resort of Sitges.
The Bel Air is located directly on the 5km beach. Along the length of the beach is a wide promenade that is widely used by walkers, cyclists rollerbladers etc. We quickly realised that the rule of the road was 'Keep Right'.
Check in at the hotel was smooth and efficient.
We had booked a room with a sea view and we reckoned it was worth the extra cost. The accomodation was excellent with air conditioning, full king size bed, plenty hanging space, room safe and a spacious bathroom.
Breakfast was all you would want. The hotel has a bar and restaurant with inside and outside sitting areas. Great place for a 'sundowner' at the end of the day.
As well as being on the beach, the hotel has an outside swimming pool with plenty of sun beds.
Also this is a non smoking hotel.
Another outstanding feature of this hotel was the staff who have all been trained to a very high standard, and were always very helpful and pleasant.
All in all, an excellent hotel and we will surely return.More
