We had a really great stay here and the location is perfect. We and even met the owners who checked with us to ensure everything was ok. The villa had all we needed for our stay including things for the kids.
The pretty patio at this holiday villa on Casas del Sol was delightful, and the house was well equipped, with plenty of cooking equipment and crockery, but the kitchen was tiny making the preparation of meals for four people really difficult. Even washing up breakfast dishes was awkward with no worktop space to lay anything down and the draining rack stuck in a small corner. We also found the Internet TV fiddly to operate and prone to interruption. The bedrooms were nicely furnished with plenty of cupboard space and the beds were comfortable but the en-suite bathroom is very small, too. The complex is beautiful and very well run and maintained and is situated right in the heart of Playa Blanca close to beaches and restaurants. The lovely happy singing maid came regularly to change towels but these were sometimes very thin, faded and worn.Perhaps the fact that we had unseasonably cold and cloudy weather made us a bit hard to,please but overall we were slightly disappointed.
having been to Lanzarote many times we have found Playa Blanca the best place if you are looking for a quiet chill out holiday . Casa de Sol is in the prime position - within 250m to the village and just across the road from the old harbour. the site is very well maintained and the staff are very helpful and friendly . villa 1a is in a envied position about 50m from the pool and is modern ,spacious and as everything you need. the patio is a sun trap most of the day and a great place to relax with a book or dine Al fresco. I have used this villa 3 times bringing my whole family and would personally recommend it to anyone
This was our third villa holiday in Playa Blanca and was definitely the best accommodation of the three. The villa was spacious, clean and very well equipped, both inside and out. The large patio area with sun loungers, table and chairs and a barbecue was a real bonus and we made full use of it. We were close to the pool area, which was also well-kept with plenty of sun loungers. I was a little worried about the villa being next to the main road but this wasn't a problem as the gardens provided privacy and the area was generally very quiet.
The villa was well positioned for all local amenities. Only a short walk to the harbour, shops bars and restaurants, and sandy beaches were within walking distance in either direction along the promenade.
We hired a car as we wanted to explore the island. This was arranged for us by Lanzarote First and the pick-up and drop-off at the airport was quick and hassle-free. We will definitely consider using Lanzarote First again.
