We stayed here for 2 weeks with family of 4 including 2 older teenagers over the last two weeks of July 2017. It's in a great location 20 to 25 mins walk from the marina so it's quiet but still has good sea views. A short walk or 3min drive takes you to the superdino Papagayo store for all your provisions.
It's close proximity to Papagayo beach access road means the route to the beaches entry point cuts out the worst section of the bumpy lane to it. It's well worth a visit.
We were worried about there being no aircon but adequate fans were provided in each bedroom and a really powerful one in the living room. At the time we went the evenings did get pretty balmy when the breeze dropped off a couple of times but we coped.
Rooms had loads of storage and for once we had more than enough hangers and decent ones too. Kitchen equipment is new and the large fridge/freezer and oven/hob means you can be self sufficient if you want but there's so much good cheap food out in Playa Blanca we ended up eating out most evenings.
Thanks to the villa manager -Lee who provided us with so many great recommendations it really did improve our stay and save us money eating out. Taxi back from PB was less than €3.
The pool area facilities are the best and make for a really relaxing stay. Plus the balcony from the master bedroom was also used for enjoying the views in the morning and evenings.
The villa washroom and shower facilities were great though the twin bedrooms' was less spacious than the master.
The villa has it's own carport area (good for shade) which was ok for our hire car as it was a small Hyundai i20 but if you had a big family car you may find it tight to park but would still be able to park on the road opposite the villa if that was the case.
This was our best holiday and as 1st time villa users in the Canaries we won't be going back to hotels after this. We are looking to book again sometime next year and Liz the owner was very helpful with all our queries and concerns before we arrived too.
