Me and my husband stayed in Pleta De Mar hotel for a week. And all I can say - the hotel is near to perfect for a couple’s stay if you want to relax. Both the hotel’s interior and exterior is designed so it unites with nature. The pools are wonderful especially the one by the sea. You don’t feel people in here. We liked to swim in the pool in the morning and in the evening and we literally were the only people there.
The breakfast was excellent, youve got everything you would want. We usually went to the neighbour towns for lunch, but had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was nice, or at the hotel nearby, which belongs to the same hotels chain, so you can book at the reception. The meals at the san simonete hotel was very nice too.
And last but not least, the appraisals go to hotel’s staff. They were here all the time you needed and very attentive and helpful throughout all the stay.

This small hotel is for adults only
It is located in a big garden , facing the sea
There is no proper beach but you can access the sea for a swim if it is not too windy
The rooms are very nice and large
They are modern and comfortable
Electrical curtains and very large bed
Service is good and the staff is very friendly and efficient
Breakfast buffet is very good
The food at the restaurant is good but after a few days , we did not know what to order anymore as the menu did not change
This is probably the only bad point

We stayed in the hotel for 8 nights. And it was unbelievable relaxing experience.
The design, grounds, swimming pools, garden are just amazing!
Local glass of champagne with freshest tuna tar-tar and aioli patatas bravas were wonderful! We still want to taste them again and again...
Dinners are just brilliant, freshest local fish with vegetables and fantastic selection of wines.
Only one minus, there wasn't any spa because the spa unit was flooded. But the hotel generously offer to use spa in their sister hotel just 10 minutes walking. And it was perfect!

Highly recommend and very much looking forward to come back.
Thanks again to the management for such a welcoming and warm experience!

Room Tip: Choose the suites with sea view, they are amazing!

We were very reluctant to leave this wonderful hotel, which is always a good sign. The hotel is just a year old and any gripes from last year about the gardens and the pools are no longer an issue as the gardens have come on a treat. The setting amid the pines of north-eastern Mallorca is a beautiful, unspoiled and tranquil one, with just the sound of birdsong and the sea at the bottom of the sloping gardens.

The hotel is in fact more striking than the photos can convey - the creamy neutral colour palate with abundant use of linen, wood and local stone both in the guest suites and around the hotel make for a very relaxed and chic setting in which to unwind and relax by the seawater pools or outside the stylishly designed guest suites. The higher up the alphabet you go, the better the suite and the nearer you are to the sea, which is a bonus if all you feel like doing is kicking back and relaxing around your suite, or by one of the three pools.

There are just 30 suites so the hotel never feels crowded - the ambience is muted and relaxed and a wonderful escape from the more raucous resorts. There are many thoughtful extras included in the guest suite and at dinner in the restaurant and the added bonus of being able to eat or have a drink in the hotel’s chic sister property Can Simoneta, which is a five minute walk down the road. We mainly ate at the hotel’s restaurant Foc Asador de Mar, which offered epic grilled fish and beef from the charcoal oven as well as being the setting for a wide choice of breakfast overlooking the main pool and lovely gardens.

There was a warm and friendly welcome from all members of the hotel staff, from the exceptionally genial General Manager to all restaurant and bar staff - they are a huge asset to the hotel. They can suggest the best local or further flung places to visit - hiring a car is a good option here, although the hotel can arrange transfers from Palma airport if requested.

The hotel offers access to a beach at the foot of the property, but this is small and rocky and to be honest, not suitable for sunbathing. A short trek through Can Simoneta brings you to the sandy beach of Canmayel.

This corner of North East Mallorca still has a rural unspoiled feel - although there are hotels and fincas dotted among the farmland, it feels really quiet. Canmayel feels virtually deserted with a handful of hotels, tourist restaurants and beach bars - for better alternatives, the nearest small towns within a short driving distance are in Artà and Capdepera. If you drive to Colònia de Sant Pere, you’ll be rewarded with great seafood, tapas and a huge platter of paella.

We loved our stay at Pleta de Mar - it was a real treat and the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion such as a honeymoon, birthday or romantic break.

We've been home for a week, and all we can think about is when can we return to Pleta de Mar. It's one of the nicest - in every category - places we've ever stayed. Everything about it is 5 star & superb. The rooms, the grounds (oh, the grounds!!!), the amenities, the muted color palettes they use in rooms & public areas, the landscaping, the pools, the service (I wish I could remember everyone's name, so I could single each person for their outstanding service!!!), the beverage selection & bar, and the food. We were there for my husband's birthday, and were treated to a yummy bottle of cava (Spanish champagne) & bowl of fruit in our room. Then we had one of the best dinners we've ever had.

Thank you to everyone at Pleta de Mar for making our first trip to Majorca such a special one. We will be back!!! We couldn't recommend this place more highly. Truly a special place, especially if you're looking for peace & the ultimate in relaxation, amidst natural beauty, and genuinely kind, thoughtful service. Mucho, mucho gracies!!!!

Room Tip: We splurged for their top notch room, but every room looked stunning!
