As a group of three Irish girls on our first trip to Ibiza, we were fairly lost on what accommodation to choose. We booked this hotel solely on how good the reviews were and how cheap it was. Didn't disappoint at all!

The room was basic but was clean and had everything we needed. It was cleaned every second day and fresh towels were left too. The rooftop pool was amazing and there were always plenty of sun loungers available with chilled out music playing in the background. The free wifi in the lobby and pool was a great bonus too! We ate breakfast almost every day in the hotel. €4 for an English breakfast and the pizzas were perfect when we came in after a night out in the west end or at the club. The location is perfect, far enough from the west end to be quiet but central at the same time. We got the bus from the airport to San Antonio station and the hotel is literally a 2 minute walk away.

What really made the hotel special was the staff. I have to say they were amazing. The receptionist always helped us with directions, dealt with any problems we had, even gave us recommendations on what she thought the best beach was (Cala salada). The waiters were always friendly and easy to talk to. Our favourite staff members without a doubt had to be the night staff, John and James. On our first night in Ibiza, we chatted and had shots with John and felt like we had known him for years! James always made the most amazing food for when we were dying and laughed at me when I asked for an English breakfast at 5am. On our last night we did shots of jäger with the pair and took pictures to keep as memories. They honestly made our holiday memorable.

Would highly recommend Casa Maria if you're looking for a small place with a lot of craic. The staff are like a family and will treat you like an old friend. Would come back tomorrow if I could. Hopefully will be back Summer 2015!

Stayed here on a 4 day break as a group of 5 girls first time in Ibiza and couldn't fault this hotel, for what we paid it had everything you could need.

The location is great, before we came we were unsure on where we needed to be but this turned out to be a great location. Hotel is literally 3 minute walk from the west end strip, next to loads of reasonably priced restaurants and across the road from the beach. The beach across the road is not amazing but it will do and there are loads of water taxi boats that take you to nicer beaches that take about 10-20 mins for a couple of euros!

As for the big clubs most of them are in the middle of nowhere so you can't really be in a hotel near them, however the bus station is 1 minute from the hotel if you ask the prs at the strip in the day when you buy club tickets they can tell you where to go! Most the big clubs about 15-20 mins away on bus so it's not bad, buses run through most the night so easy to get home or worst case always taxis outside clubs just slightly more expensive about 20-30 euro back to west end. Space and sankeys and few more clubs are by playa den bossa? Which is where bora bora beach is lots of partying on the beach all day so also would be a good location to look at staying however I think more expensive and not many places to relax in the day (you may think you want to party all day an night but when you get in from the clubs past 7am a nap on the beach is needed!!!)

The bar and restaurant at casa Maria were good quality and good price!! Big up to our fav bar man Jorge downstairs ahah, all staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned during our stay!

Hotel has free wifi in the pool area and downstairs bar/restaurant area however we managed to connect to it in our room as well guess just depends how lucky you are!

Over all if you are looking for some amazing luxury hotel probably look elsewhere but if are like everyone else in Ibiza just want to be close enough to all the action for a good price somewhere to get ready and sleep for a few hours I couldn't recommend this place more! :)

Stayed here in Mid July with 7 other lads. The rooms are basic enough but have everything you need and are keenly priced for Ibiza. It is only 3 minute walk to the beach front and only 5 minute walk to the West End, also only a 5min walk to the bus station. There is an ATM across the street which is also very handy. Drink is cheap here, €3 for pints of San Miguel, all bottles in the upstairs bar €3. The day staff are grumpy enough but you forget all about that when you meet 'John the Night Porter'. He is the captain of craic. No matter what state we came home in, he would always greet you like you were sober, he would have a laugh with you and even drink a whiskey with you, great man for the Jameson, NO ICE. All eight of us agreed that the craic we had with John made the holiday. If I was going back to Ibiza tomorrow, I would be heading to Casa Maria.

Could not recommend this place enough and could not speak higher of John, H'up ya Bhoy ya..

Great location, 5 min walk to the beach and 2 min walk to the "West End".
Hotel is basic, but has everything you need including a fridge!

Great for a holiday in San Antonio Bay.

Attracts a good crowd of people. The rooftop pool catches the sun brilliantly and played good music!

Would recomend here if your looking for a basic Ibiza holiday with a bed for the night and a good location in San Anotnio

Originally we had booked a platinum suite the new 5* hard rock hotel, but due to unforeseen circumstances "downgraded" last minute to Casa Maria Apartments. I'm glad we did!

Sure, on the surface it hasn't got the same glitz and glamour as the luxury hotels in Bossa, but I guarantee you'll have a lot more fun here.

The staff are what really make this place a cut above the others in San Antonia. It's too common to meet tired, unhelpful, miserable staff throughout the establishments around San Antonio, that look down on holiday makers here to party. However, the staff in Casa Maria were extremely helpful, friendly and smiley at all times.

Credit to all staff equally, but I'd like to give mention John and James who run the night shift. No matter what state you come back in (unless you're causing trouble, of course), they'll still provide service with a smile and make you feel welcome.

The pool on the roof is an amazing place to hang out in the day and plays music well into the evening. A great place to drink and meet people. You can also give them your phone/mp3 player and they'll play your playlist :)

To put it into contrast, my friend and I did stay in the Migjorn apartments for a couple of nights in Playa Den Bossa towards the end of the holiday. It's obviously much newer and prettier than Casa Maria, but the majority of the staff were cold, miserable and largely unhelpful (except the bar staff who seemed quite nice) and the clientele just didn't seem as approachable and up for a laugh.

The rooms are basic, but who spends much time in their room in Ibiza anyway? You have a fridge for beer, a bed to occasionally sleep in, a sofa to throw your clothes on, and a shower to wash away the debauchery. What else do you need? There's also a safe and aircon as optional extras (the aircon was including through our booking website).

I highly recommend this place and no matter how my budget next time, I'd still rather stay here and spend the leftover money on other things (like extortionate club drinks!).
